A Recraft alternative for when the asset is only the start
Recraft is a strong pick for real vectors: logos, icons and illustrations in SVG, with a style held from a few reference images and your own fonts on a canvas. QuQi has no canvas and no vector editor. It builds each post’s picture or carousel from your website, then captions it, publishes it on a calendar, and writes articles and works on SEO alongside.
Why people look for an alternative to Recraft
The Recraft alternatives lists and Recraft’s own pricing page point to three needs.
Real work needs a paid plan
Images made on Free are public, owned by Recraft and not licensed for commercial use, and Free runs Recraft’s own models only. A logo for a client or a product graphic for a shop means a subscription from the start.
Credits that reset each month
Subscription credits reset every billing cycle with no rollover, and each model and action costs a different number of them. That makes a month’s output hard to plan before you begin.
An asset, then everything after it
Recraft’s docs cover making and exporting images, with nothing on scheduling, captions or posting. Its Design Agent can draw a social post, and someone still writes the words around it and puts it on each channel.
What QuQi does instead
QuQi gives the work around the asset to teammates who run on their own days.
Takes one idea a day, words it for each connected channel, builds a picture or a carousel of 2 to 10 slides for it and posts it on schedule.
Cuts a short film each week from what your website says and sells, with a voiceover, a music bed and sound effects, sized for the channel it goes to.
Publishes researched articles to WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, Ghost or Notion, each with a cover and pictures for its sections.
Checks every week whether ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google’s AI Overviews cite or mention your business, and which rivals they name instead.
Recraft and QuQi, side by side
QuQi’s column is for a paid plan. The free plan audits and analyses the website, and publishing starts on a paid plan.
Recraft’s details were checked on October 18, 2026 on its own pages: recraft.ai/pricing, recraft.ai/docs/plans-and-billing/credits.md, recraft.ai/docs/api-reference/models/recraft-v4-styles.md, recraft.ai/docs/recraft-studio/image-generation/working-with-text-and-prompts/using-custom-fonts.md, recraft.ai/docs/llms.txt . Plans and features change, so check there before you buy. Recraft is a trademark of its owner; QuQi is not affiliated with it.
When Recraft is the better pick
QuQi is not the answer to everything Recraft does. Stay with it, or use both, if this sounds like you.
- You need editable SVG logos, icons or patterns, and a vector editor to finish them.
- You want a brand style locked from a few reference images, with no model to train.
- You build on its image API, or design inside Figma, Framer or Google Slides with its plugins.
Moving from Recraft to QuQi
- 01
Keep your logo
Export your logo from Recraft and upload it to QuQi’s brand kit if you want that one on every picture; otherwise QuQi takes a transparent logo from your website. Your colours and fonts are read from the site.
- 02
Write your design rules once
Anything you set in Recraft for every image, such as flat icons and no gradients, goes into Image Designer’s Instructions box, which is read for every picture QuQi makes. Then connect the channels it should post to.
- 03
Run both for a few weeks
Keep Recraft for logos, icons and anything that must be a vector. Hand the daily posts and the Friday video to the crew, and after a few weeks decide what each one should keep.

Recraft alternative: common questions
Is there a free Recraft alternative?
QuQi has a free plan, which runs an SEO audit and an analysis of your business. Pictures, videos and posting need a paid plan. On Recraft’s Free plan you get daily limits, and the images are public, owned by Recraft and not for commercial use.
Can QuQi make logos or SVG files like Recraft?
Not as a design job. QuQi never has a model draw a logo: its pictures use the one you already have, taken from your website or uploaded by hand, as a small signature and on the closing card. For a new logo or an SVG icon set, Recraft is the tool.
Does QuQi keep a consistent style like Recraft’s custom styles?
It keeps to your brand rather than a style you build. Every picture uses your website’s colours, fonts and logo, which win over any colour a request names, and a carousel’s slides share one style between the cover and the closing card. There are no reference images to manage.
Can I use Recraft and QuQi together?
Yes. Make the logo, an icon set or a product graphic in Recraft, then upload the logo to QuQi’s brand kit or drop a finished image into the chat to post it. Both have MCP servers, so Claude can reach each one in the same conversation.
