A Leonardo.Ai alternative that starts from your website, not a model list
Leonardo.Ai is a deep workshop: dozens of image and video models, sound and 3D in one account, plus Elements you train to keep a style, character or product steady. QuQi starts somewhere else. It reads your website, builds each post’s picture or carousel in your fonts, logo and colours, and publishes it on a calendar, with articles and SEO from the same crew.
Why people look for an alternative to Leonardo.Ai
Leonardo.Ai’s own pricing FAQ and help centre explain most of what sends people to the alternatives lists.
A meter that changes with each model
Every job costs tokens by the compute it takes, so a clip or a partner model spends far more than a basic image. Relaxed, unlimited generation covers Leonardo’s own models only, and top-up packs work only while you stay subscribed.
Many models, many settings
The model list turns over fast: new image and video models keep arriving, and three video models were retired between June and July 2026. Choosing the model, the settings and the Element for each job is part of the work, and the interface is in English only.
The file is where it ends
Leonardo’s social post page ends at a ready image, and its banner page tells you to export it and upload it to your channel yourself. Captions, timing and posting stay with you, and every job starts when you start it.
What QuQi does instead
With QuQi, the work after the file belongs to teammates who know your website and keep their own days.
Writes a post each day for every channel you connect, with a picture or a carousel built from your website, and publishes it at its time, so nobody exports a file.
Makes a short video each Friday from what your website offers, with a voice, music and real stock footage, in the shape Reels, TikTok or YouTube need.
Writes the articles people search for, in your website’s language, and sends them to WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, Ghost or Notion with a cover and section pictures.
Runs a weekly audit of 56 checks, from redirects and canonicals to slow pages, and gives the site a health score you can watch move.
Leonardo.Ai and QuQi, side by side
QuQi’s column is for a paid plan. The free plan audits and analyses the website, and publishing starts on a paid plan.

When Leonardo.Ai is the better pick
QuQi is not the answer to everything Leonardo.Ai does. Stay with it, or use both, if this sounds like you.
- You want to choose among dozens of image and video models, and switch as soon as a new one lands.
- You need a style, a character or a product held steady, and want to train Elements on your own images to do it.
- You make 3D, music, sound effects or dialogue next to your images, or build on its API with webhooks.
Moving from Leonardo.Ai to QuQi
- 01
Bring your finished files
Pieces you already made in Leonardo.Ai can still go out. Upload one in QuQi’s chat or pick it from the library, add your words, and Social Copywriter posts it on the channels you choose.
- 02
Let your site replace the Elements
There is no style to train. QuQi reads your colours, a transparent logo and the fonts in your website’s CSS when you add it, and keeps to them on every picture. Anything you would have typed into every prompt, write once in Image Designer’s Instructions box.
- 03
Keep a seat for the experiments
Leonardo.Ai stays useful for concept art, 3D and trying new models. Give the daily posts and the weekly video to the crew for a month, then see which subscription you still open.

Leonardo.Ai alternative: common questions
Is there a free Leonardo.Ai alternative?
On QuQi’s free plan the crew audits your site and reads your business. Making pictures and videos and posting them starts on a paid plan. Leonardo.Ai’s Free plan gives 150 fast tokens a day, and everything made on it is public.
Is Leonardo.Ai owned by Canva?
Yes. Canva announced it was buying Leonardo.Ai in July 2024, and Leonardo’s own page says it became part of the Canva family while it keeps running on its own. Its upscaler can send an image straight to Canva.
Does QuQi let me pick the image model?
No. QuQi chooses the visual for each piece, from your products and real stock photos to a generated image, and you choose a quality level: Standard, Normal or High. If picking the model yourself matters, Leonardo.Ai gives you far more of them.
Can I train QuQi on my brand like a Leonardo Element?
There is nothing to train. QuQi takes your colours, fonts and a transparent logo from your website, uses a shop’s real product photos, and sets the words on every picture by code. For a character that must look the same across hundreds of generated images, Leonardo.Ai’s Elements do that job.
Can I use Leonardo.Ai and QuQi together?
Yes, with a hand-off. Make a concept or a clip in Leonardo.Ai, download it, and drop it into QuQi’s chat to post with your caption. Both have MCP servers, so an assistant such as Cursor can reach each one, though Leonardo’s only makes images.
