QuQi vs Freepik, now Magnific: a toolbox or a crew

Freepik, now Magnific, is the wider toolbox: stock, dozens of models, a Brand Kit, a design editor and agents on a canvas, for people who make the visuals themselves. QuQi has no canvas. It makes each post’s picture, carousel or video from your website, publishes it to nine channels on a calendar, and writes articles and works on your SEO alongside.

Choose Freepik if
  • You also buy stock photos, vectors, fonts and templates.
  • You like to pick the model and refine every image by hand.
  • Your team designs in Adobe apps or Figma and wants AI inside them.
Choose QuQi if
  • You want a post on every channel each day, made for you.
  • You would rather ask for changes in words than open an editor.
  • You want articles and SEO work from the crew that posts.

Where Freepik is stronger

  • A stock library of over 250 million photos, vectors, PSDs, videos, fonts and templates.
  • More than 30 image models and many video models, with new ones added within days.
  • Designer, upscalers up to 10K and plugins for Adobe apps, Figma and Microsoft Office.
  • Magnific One’s Brand Kit, which checks each image and lets you edit type and colour without regenerating.

Where QuQi is stronger

  • Each post’s picture or carousel made from your website, with nobody choosing a model.
  • Captions per channel and publishing to nine networks on a calendar.
  • Weekly short videos with a voice, music and your products, from Video Producer.
  • SEO audits, page fixes, AI answer checks and articles to your CMS.

Using Freepik and QuQi together

Magnific can stay your library and studio: stock for the website, an upscaled product shot, a campaign visual designed by hand. Drop any of those into QuQi’s chat with a caption and the crew posts it, between the pictures and the weekly video it makes on its own.

If you work from Claude or ChatGPT, connect both MCP servers. The assistant can then ask Magnific for an image and ask QuQi to write the post, schedule it and report on your site’s health.

QuQi vs Freepik: common questions

Is QuQi cheaper than Freepik?

Compare what each plan buys. A Magnific plan buys credits and stock for making things, and the posting is still yours. A QuQi plan, priced per website, buys a crew that makes and publishes the posts, writes articles and works on your SEO. The pricing section lists both as they are published today.

Can Freepik post to Instagram?

No social posting or scheduling appears in its pages or help articles: in Magnific, Publish shares to your profile, a community style or a Flow. You download the file and post it yourself. QuQi posts to Instagram and seven more networks, and sends videos to YouTube.

Does Freepik have an API?

Yes. Magnific’s API covers image, video, audio, upscaling, editing and stock, paid with plan credits, and both api.freepik.com and api.magnific.com work. Its MCP server connects Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and others. QuQi has a REST API, webhooks and an MCP server for posts, articles and SEO.

Can I edit QuQi’s pictures the way I edit in Freepik?

Not by hand. QuQi has no canvas or layers: you describe the change in the chat or on the piece. In the first 2 days, a change is charged only for what it changes, and later the piece can be regenerated. Magnific’s Designer and editors are the place for hands-on work.

Does Freepik have a Brand Kit like QuQi?

Yes. Magnific One has a Brand Kit you set once with your palette, type, imagery and tone, and its Final mode checks each image against it. QuQi has no kit to fill in: it reads the colours, fonts and logo from your website and applies them to every picture by code.
