QuQi vs Ideogram: two ways to get the words right

Ideogram is the stronger tool for generating images with text in them, editing them in layers and building on an API. QuQi is for a business that wants the post itself: it makes each picture or carousel from your website with the words set in code, publishes it to nine channels on a calendar, and runs your articles and SEO alongside. Changes in QuQi are asked for in words, with no canvas.

Choose Ideogram if
  • You design posters, mockups or merch and want the lettering generated with the image.
  • You are a developer and want an image API or open weights.
  • You want a custom model trained on your own images.
Choose QuQi if
  • You want posts out on your channels daily without making each image.
  • You need every word, figure and phone number on the picture exactly right.
  • You want videos, articles and SEO from the same crew.

Where Ideogram is stronger

  • Lettering drawn inside generated images, with JSON prompts that set each element’s box and the exact hex colours.
  • Studio, with layers, extend, reframe and Layerize Text to turn flat lettering into editable text.
  • An API with fixed prices per image, an MCP server and open-weight models to host yourself.
  • Custom models trained on your own images and shared across a team.

Where QuQi is stronger

  • Words, numbers and the logo set by code in your website’s own fonts, so nothing needs fixing letter by letter.
  • Posts captioned for each channel and published on a calendar across nine networks.
  • Short videos with a voice and music from Video Producer, cut for Reels, TikTok or YouTube.
  • Articles to your CMS, a weekly SEO audit and page fixes from the same crew.

Using Ideogram and QuQi together

Ideogram fits next to QuQi when you want a generated poster, a product mockup or a print design. Make it in Ideogram, drop the file into QuQi’s chat, and it goes to your channels with your caption, between the posts the crew makes every day.

If you work inside Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor, connect both MCP servers. One assistant can then ask Ideogram for an image and ask QuQi to write and schedule a post or check the site’s health.
