QuQi vs Kapwing: an editor you drive, or a crew that delivers

Kapwing is the stronger choice when your team edits its own footage: it has a full timeline, Kai for edits in plain words, and subtitles, dubbing and lip sync in one place. QuQi makes films and pictures from your website, posts every day, and also writes articles and works on your SEO.

Choose Kapwing if
  • Your team edits its own footage by hand.
  • You subtitle and dub videos for many languages.
  • You want several people editing one project at once.
Choose QuQi if
  • You have no footage and no time to edit.
  • You want a post out every day without opening an editor.
  • You want articles and SEO work on the same plan.

Where Kapwing is stronger

  • A real editor: timeline, transitions, screen and camera recording, with Kai for changes in plain words.
  • Localisation in one place: subtitles, translation, dubbing in 40+ languages, voice clones and lip sync.
  • Teamwork on the same project: live co-editing, timestamped comments and version history.
  • Many generation models under one credit pool, and an MCP server that works with Claude and ChatGPT.

Where QuQi is stronger

  • Films and pictures that start from your website, with your products, fonts, logo and colours.
  • A daily post on Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest and your other channels, with nobody at the keyboard.
  • Articles, a weekly SEO audit, page fixes and AI search checks from the same balance of credits.
  • One price per website, with the team’s seats included in the plan.

Using Kapwing and QuQi together

Kapwing and QuQi split the work well when your team still films. Keep Kapwing for the edits that need a person: interviews, tutorials, subtitled and dubbed versions. QuQi’s Video Producer makes the product films from your website, and Social Copywriter keeps a post with its own picture going out each day.

A video finished in Kapwing can go out through QuQi as well. Download it, hand it to the chat with a line of text and a time, and it reaches Instagram, LinkedIn or any other channel you connected, between the crew’s own posts.

QuQi vs Kapwing: common questions

Is QuQi cheaper than Kapwing?

It depends on the size of your team. Kapwing charges a seat for each member, with a monthly pool of credits for the workspace. QuQi charges per website, and one balance covers films, daily posts, articles and SEO for everyone on the plan. Each plan list further up comes from its own pricing page, read on 18 October 2026.

Does Kapwing have a free trial?

Not for its paid plans: you start on the free plan, and only Enterprise teams with more than 7 licences can get a week. Kapwing also gives no refunds once you subscribe. QuQi’s free plan audits your website and reads the business before you pay for anything.

Can I use Kapwing from Claude or ChatGPT?

Yes. Kapwing’s MCP server, open to everyone since 12 October 2026, lets Claude, ChatGPT and other clients upload, subtitle, translate, dub and download, though it cannot generate video or use the Brand Kit yet. There is a ChatGPT plugin too. QuQi has an MCP server of its own, for site health, articles, posts and page fixes.

Which is better for videos in several languages?

Kapwing, when the video already exists: it translates subtitles and dubs into 40+ languages, with voice clones and lip sync on Business. QuQi voices each new film in your website’s language, or in another one you name in the brief.

How do teams work in each one?

In Kapwing, everyone in the workspace has a paid seat and can co-edit a project live, leave timestamped comments and go back through versions. In QuQi, seats come with the website’s plan, with owner, admin, editor and viewer roles, and approval requests arrive in the chat with a note by email.
