QuQi vs CapCut: who does the editing
CapCut is the broader tool if you like to edit: a timeline on every device, a large template library, avatars and ByteDance’s video models, with a free plan to start. QuQi does the editing for you, making short films from your website, and the same crew publishes articles, posts every day and works on your SEO.
- You enjoy editing and want control of every cut.
- You want a free editor with templates on your phone.
- You want to try Seedance video models in one app.
- You would rather describe a video than edit one.
- You want films built around your own products.
- You want the blog, the SEO and the posts handled too.

What each one costs
CapCut has a free plan and two paid ones, Pro and Ultra, each with a monthly allowance of AI credits that generation spends per action or per second; its page says prices are for reference and vary by region. QuQi prices each website, with one balance of credits for the whole crew and unused plan credits carried over for a month.

Using CapCut and QuQi together
CapCut and QuQi fit side by side. Keep CapCut for the trend clips you want to cut by hand, the ones where timing and effects matter. Let Video Producer make the weekly film about your products, and let Social Copywriter post a picture on every channel each day.
When a CapCut edit is ready, export it and pass it to QuQi’s chat with its caption and a time. The crew posts it to Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn and the rest as well as TikTok, while the articles and the SEO work carry on.

QuQi vs CapCut: common questions
Is QuQi cheaper than CapCut?
For hands-on editing alone, CapCut’s free plan costs nothing. QuQi charges per website for a whole crew, so one plan pays for films, posts, articles and SEO together. The pricing section shows the plans each one lists.
Does CapCut have an AI video generator?
Yes. It runs ByteDance’s Seedance models, including Seedance 2.5 with clips of up to 30 seconds, and Video Studio turns a prompt into a brief and then a video. QuQi’s Video Producer leans on your product photos and stock footage, with at most one generated clip per film.
Can CapCut schedule posts?
Not inside CapCut. Its own guide to TikTok scheduling has you edit in CapCut and schedule in TikTok or another app. QuQi posts a film at the time you name, and Social Copywriter’s daily posts follow their own calendar.
Does CapCut have a brand kit?
On the Teams plan, with shared brand templates, fonts and colours that only admins edit. QuQi reads your colours, logo and voice from your website, and Video Producer uses the fonts your pages already load.
Which one is better for TikTok?
If TikTok is your main channel and you like editing on your phone, CapCut is built around it, with one-tap posting. If TikTok is one of several channels and you want the videos made for you, QuQi posts the film there and to eight more.
