A Krea alternative that makes the week’s posts from your website
Krea gathers about 50 image models and 60 video models in one app, with a realtime canvas, upscaling to 22K, style training and an API. You choose the model, prompt each asset and publish it elsewhere. QuQi starts from your website: it builds each post’s picture, carousel or video in your fonts, logo and colours and posts it on the days the crew has planned.
Why people look for an alternative to Krea
Krea’s reviews and the lists of Krea alternatives come back to the same needs, and Krea’s own pricing FAQ confirms the first one.
Units that are hard to budget
Every model spends compute units at its own rate, and a video uses them far faster than a still. On Pro and Max the month’s units do not roll over, so reviewers find it hard to know what a project will take and lose what a quiet month leaves.
Plan rules shape the work
The unlimited relaxed generations cover Krea’s own image models only, and partner models keep spending units. The full set of video models starts on Pro, so people on a lower plan find the plan, more than the quality, decides what they can make.
Each asset waits for a prompt
Krea saves what it makes to a library to preview and download, and it has no content calendar. For a business that needs something on its channels every day, the planning, the captions and the posting still sit with a person.
What QuQi does instead
QuQi gives that weekly work to teammates who read your website before they start and draw on one balance of credits.
Picks each day’s subject from your social strategy, writes a separate caption for every connected channel and publishes it with a picture or carousel set in your website’s fonts and colours.
Opens your website, plans a short film around it each Friday, picks the stock footage, the voice and the music itself, and delivers it shaped for Reels, TikTok or YouTube.
Writes two articles a week on keywords it researched for your site, with a cover and section pictures, and sends them to your CMS on their day.
Krea and QuQi, side by side
QuQi’s column is for a paid plan. The free plan audits and analyses the website, and publishing starts on a paid plan.
Krea’s details were checked on October 18, 2026 on its own pages: krea.ai/pricing, krea.ai/docs/user-guide/agent/overview.md, krea.ai/krea-agent/integrations, krea.ai/docs/user-guide/agent/plans-and-credits.md, krea.ai/features/api . When Krea is the better pick
QuQi is not the answer to everything Krea does. Stay with it, or use both, if this sounds like you.
- You want to choose among about 50 image models and 60 video models, Veo 3.1, Kling 3.0 and Seedance 2.5 among them, on one subscription.
- You like to work live on a realtime canvas, upscale to 22K, or train a style, character or product on your own images.
- You build on an API with Python, Node and Go SDKs and fixed prices per image, or call Krea from Claude or Cursor through its MCP server.
Moving from Krea to QuQi
- 01
No model to train for your look
QuQi needs no LoRA or moodboard to stay on brand. The day you add the website, it takes your colours and logo from its pages, and the producer loads your fonts from the stylesheet for every piece.
- 02
Link the channels you post to
Connect Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok and the rest once. A new crew’s posts go out on their own, and the Social posts switch makes each one wait for your OK if you prefer.
- 03
Keep Krea for directed shots
Campaign visuals, product renders and clips you want from one particular model can stay in Krea. Give the daily posts to the crew for a month, then compare what each one put on your channels.

Krea alternative: common questions
Is there a free Krea alternative?
Krea’s own Free plan gives 100 compute units a day with no card. QuQi’s free plan works on your website instead: it audits the site and reads your business, and pictures, videos and posting begin on a paid plan.
Which AI model does QuQi use for pictures?
You do not pick one. QuQi offers three quality levels, Standard, Normal and High quality, in Settings → Images, and each says what a picture usually costs in credits. The producer decides how to make each piece, and the words on it are always set by code.
Can QuQi edit or upscale pictures like Krea?
QuQi makes each picture in the shape its post needs, and it has no canvas. You ask for a change in words, in the chat or on the piece in QuQi’s Studio, and for 2 days after it is made an edit pays only for what changed. For an upscale to print size, Krea’s Enhancer is the tool to use.
Does QuQi keep my look consistent without training a model?
Yes. Every picture and carousel uses your website’s own fonts, your logo and your brand colours, which win over any colour a request names. Nothing has to be trained first, so the very first piece already follows the site.
Can I use Krea and QuQi together?
Yes. A picture or clip you make in Krea can go into QuQi’s chat and out on your channels with your caption. If you work in Claude or Cursor, connect both MCP servers, and one assistant can generate in Krea and ask QuQi to write a post or check the site’s SEO.
