A Zoho Social alternative that writes and illustrates each post
Zoho Social gives you a free plan, a long list of networks, social listening and an inbox that feeds Zoho CRM and Desk. The content is still yours to make. QuQi’s Social Copywriter writes each day’s post from your website, worded for every channel, with a picture or carousel in your brand, and posts it on the calendar.
Why people look for an alternative to Zoho Social
Zoho’s pricing page, its help centre and the alternatives roundups bring up these needs most often.
A small AI allowance
Zia comes with 5 to 80 credits a month depending on the plan, and unused credits do not roll over. Accounts in the EU, South Africa and UAE data centres get no credits at all. Elsewhere, once the month’s credits run out, Zia needs your own OpenAI key.
One post, trimmed for every network
A reviewer quoted in a competitor’s roundup says posts need trimming to fit each network. Pictures are now fitted to each network’s shape for you, but with up to 16 channels on a brand, adapting the words for each one is still your job.
Reels that start in another app
Zoho Social publishes the Reels, Stories and trial reels you bring. One alternatives roundup calls its Reels editing weak, so making the video stays a separate job before anything is scheduled.
What QuQi does instead
QuQi gives each of those jobs to a teammate on a fixed day, and the Social posts switch decides whether their work waits for you.
Writes each day’s post from your social strategy as its own version for every channel, each with a different hook, and sends it at 10:00 in your time zone.
Makes a short video each Friday in the 9:16 shape Reels and TikTok use, with a voice, music and stock footage or, for a shop, its own products.
Researches a keyword, writes the article and publishes it to your blog on Mondays and Thursdays, giving your posts something new to share.
Rewrites flagged titles, descriptions and the social preview a shared link shows, and puts them live through QuQi Edge with an undo.
Zoho Social and QuQi, side by side
QuQi’s column is for a paid plan. The free plan audits and analyses the website, and publishing starts on a paid plan.
Zoho Social’s details were checked on October 18, 2026 on its own pages: zoho.com/social/pricing.html, zoho.com/social/channels.html, help.zoho.com/portal/en/kb/social/generative-ai-zia/articles/zia-generative-ai, help.zoho.com/portal/en/kb/social/generative-ai-zia/articles/ways-to-access-ai-in-zoho-social-zia-credits-byok-explained, zoho.com/social/mcp.html . Plans and features change, so check there before you buy. Zoho Social is a trademark of its owner; QuQi is not affiliated with it.
When Zoho Social is the better pick
QuQi is not the answer to everything Zoho Social does. Stay with it, or use both, if this sounds like you.
- You want a free plan that publishes, for one brand on six channels.
- You work in Zoho CRM or Desk and want comments turned into leads and messages into tickets.
- You need listening columns for keywords, hashtags and mentions, or WhatsApp and Telegram in the same inbox.
Moving from Zoho Social to QuQi
- 01
Bring the tone, not the drafts
Adding your website gives QuQi its colours, logo and voice, read from your own pages. A tone you used with Zia, or hashtags you always add, go into Social Copywriter’s Instructions box.
- 02
Choose what waits for you
Connect the channels QuQi posts to, then set the Social posts switch: each day’s post goes out on its own or waits in the chat for your OK. The note reaches you by email, and on Telegram or WhatsApp if that is where you last wrote, with Approve and Reject buttons.
- 03
Keep Zoho for the conversations
Your Zoho plan can keep the inbox, the listening columns and the CRM link while QuQi takes over the posting. Turn off repeat posts and queues on the channels QuQi covers, so a day never gets two posts.

Zoho Social alternative: common questions
Is there a free Zoho Social alternative?
Zoho Social’s own Free plan publishes for one brand on six channels, which QuQi’s free plan does not do. QuQi’s free plan audits and analyses your website instead, and writing and posting begin on a paid plan.
Does QuQi work with Zoho CRM?
Not directly: QuQi has no CRM link. Its webhooks announce each post and article when it is written and when it is published, so another tool can pick those events up.
Can QuQi make Instagram Reels?
Yes. Video Producer makes short videos in 9:16 with a voice, music and, for a shop, its own products, and a video sent to Instagram or Facebook goes out as a Reel. You post a video from the library or the chat.
Does QuQi write in languages other than English?
Yes. The crew writes in your website’s language, picked up when it reads your site, and a calendar job can ask for another, such as an article in Arabic every Monday. Zia also writes in a language you choose.
Does QuQi have a social inbox like Zoho Social?
No. QuQi does not read or answer comments, messages or reviews, and it has no listening or post reports. Zoho Social’s Premium inbox stays the better place for that work.
