Schema Markup Generator
Produce valid JSON-LD for the types search engines actually use.
What it checks
- Generates JSON-LD for five types: Article, FAQPage, Organization, Product and BreadcrumbList.
- Article takes a headline, author, publish date and image; Organization takes a name, URL, logo and one sameAs profile.
- Product takes a name and description and adds an Offer with price and currency, defaulting to USD.
- FAQPage takes two questions with answers, and BreadcrumbList takes two levels with names and URLs.
- Leaves out every field you keep empty, so the output has no blank properties.
- Wraps the result in a script tag ready to paste, with a link to the schema.org validator.
Reading the result
The output holds the core properties of each type and nothing more. Add what your page needs before you publish, such as more questions, a third breadcrumb level, more sameAs profiles or product availability, then run it through the validator.
Every value must match what visitors can see on the page. A price, author or answer that appears only in the markup counts as misleading under Google's guidelines and can cost the page its rich results.
Paste the script tag into the head or the body; both are read. Once the page is live, test it with Google's Rich Results Test, which checks against Google's own requirements rather than the schema.org vocabulary. Page Optimizer in a QuQi crew adds and updates structured data across a site.
Questions
Does the generator validate my markup?
It produces well-formed JSON and drops empty fields, but it does not check your values, such as date formats or URLs. Use the validator link for the schema.org vocabulary and Google's Rich Results Test for rich result eligibility.
Which type should I add first?
Organization on your home page, so search engines can connect your name, logo and profiles. Then Article on posts, Product on product pages and BreadcrumbList on pages below the home page.
Will FAQ markup give me expandable answers in Google?
Probably not. Google has restricted FAQ rich results to a small group of sites, so most pages will not get them. The markup still states your questions and answers in a form machines can read.
Can a page have more than one JSON-LD block?
Yes. Each block is read on its own, so an article page can carry Article and BreadcrumbList blocks side by side.
This checks one page, once. Your crew checks every page, every week, and fixes what it finds.
