A RecurPost alternative that makes each post before it goes out

RecurPost keeps a schedule running for people with many accounts: evergreen libraries republish approved posts, an inbox handles DMs and reviews, and clients get white-label reports. QuQi starts before the schedule. Its Social Copywriter writes a new post every day, worded for each channel, and sends it out with a picture or carousel made in your website’s fonts, logo and colours.

Why people look for an alternative to RecurPost

Reviews and RecurPost alternatives articles come back to three needs, and RecurPost’s own pricing page explains two of them.

Every profile is counted

RecurPost bills per connected account: Starter covers 2, Personal 5 and Agency 20, and each profile past that is an add-on. A client’s Facebook Page and Instagram count as two, so an agency’s bill rises with every network a client joins.

The library needs feeding

Recycling republishes what is already in a library, so someone still writes the posts and picks an image for each. Its AI drafts captions and a week of posts per profile, and offers up to four images from a prompt, but every draft waits for you to edit and schedule it.

A trial in place of a free plan

RecurPost no longer has a permanent free plan: you get 14 days without a card, then a paid plan. Some reviewers who only needed their proven posts recycled found the cost hard to justify for that one job.

What QuQi does instead

QuQi hands those jobs to teammates who make the posts as well as send them.

When RecurPost is the better pick

QuQi is not the answer to everything RecurPost does. Stay with it, or use both, if this sounds like you.

  • You have a stock of proven posts and want evergreen, one-time and seasonal libraries to keep republishing them for months.
  • You answer DMs, comments, mentions and reviews in one inbox, with AI-drafted replies and Instagram DM keyword automation.
  • You send clients white-label reports built from 200+ metrics, delivered by email on a schedule.

Moving from RecurPost to QuQi

  1. 01

    Let the libraries keep looping

Your evergreen and seasonal libraries can stay in RecurPost and carry on republishing. Social Copywriter adds the new posts, so fresh material lands between the recycled ones.

  2. 02

    Give QuQi your website

When you add your site, QuQi reads your colours, logo and the words you use and avoid, then writes a social strategy. Connect the same channels, and paste the house rules you follow into Social Copywriter’s Instructions box.

  3. 03

Split the feeds while you compare

For a month, let each tool own different channels or different days, so a fresh post and a recycled one never land together. Keep RecurPost’s inbox and reports running the whole time.

RecurPost alternative: common questions

Is there a free RecurPost alternative?

RecurPost has no permanent free plan, only a 14-day trial without a card. QuQi’s free plan covers an audit and an analysis of your website, and the crew writes and posts once the website is on a paid plan. For a free scheduler alone, Buffer and Pallyy both start with a free plan.

Does QuQi repost evergreen content the way RecurPost does?

Not on its own schedule. Social Copywriter writes something new each day instead of cycling a library. To run a picture or video that did well again, pick it from the library and post it from the chat with a caption of your own.

Are QuQi’s pictures different from RecurPost’s AI images?

RecurPost gives up to four images from a text prompt for you to choose from. QuQi lays out each post’s picture or carousel from your website’s fonts, logo and colours, and sets any words on it as type, so a headline or an offer can go on the picture.

Can QuQi reply to DMs and comments?

No. QuQi has no inbox, does not answer comments or messages and does not report on how posts perform. If your team works in RecurPost’s inbox and reports, keep them, and let QuQi make the posts.

Does QuQi post to Bluesky like RecurPost?

No. QuQi posts to the other nine networks on RecurPost’s list, Google Business and Threads among them, with YouTube for videos only. If Bluesky matters to you, keep RecurPost or another scheduler for that one account.
