A ChatGPT alternative for the work that repeats every week
ChatGPT answers almost anything, writes on request, makes images and, with Work and dots, can carry a goal across your apps. QuQi gives one website a standing crew instead: it audits the site, publishes articles to your CMS, posts on nine social channels and checks AI answers on its own calendar, and you decide which of it waits for your OK.
Why people look for an alternative to ChatGPT
These needs show up in the ChatGPT alternatives lists and on OpenAI’s own help pages. For a business website, a general assistant covers one part of the job.
Video since Sora closed
OpenAI shut the Sora app on 26 April 2026 and its API on 24 September, and the ChatGPT plan comparison lists no video generation. Reels, TikToks and Shorts now come from another tool.
A pipeline you assemble
Through plugins, ChatGPT can publish to WordPress.com or hand posts to a scheduler like Postiz, which has a plan of its own. You still write the scheduled tasks, keep each connection working and read every draft before it goes out.
Allowances that are hard to plan
OpenAI publishes usage estimates only for Work and Codex, and image generations use the allowance 3 to 5 times faster. In September a Pro tier reopened with a lower allowance, which makes a month of content harder to budget.
What QuQi does instead
Here is who in QuQi’s crew picks up each of those needs, without a prompt from you.
Makes a short video every Friday with a voice, music, stock footage and your shop’s products, in the shape the channel needs, from Reels to YouTube.
Chooses a keyword within your site’s reach, studies the pages that rank for it and sends the finished article to WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, Ghost or Notion twice a week.
Has a fresh post out each day, worded again for every connected channel, with a picture or carousel designed in your brand.
Asks ChatGPT itself, plus Gemini, Perplexity and Google’s AI Overviews, whether they name your business, and shows who they name when they skip you.
ChatGPT and QuQi, side by side
QuQi’s column is for a paid plan. The free plan audits and analyses the website, and publishing starts on a paid plan.
ChatGPT’s details were checked on October 18, 2026 on its own pages: chatgpt.com/pricing, chatgpt.com/work, chatgpt.com/features/dots, openai.com/business/plugins/wordpress, help.openai.com/en/articles/20001152-what-to-know-about-the-sora-discontinuation . Plans and features change, so check there before you buy. ChatGPT is a trademark of its owner; QuQi is not affiliated with it.
When ChatGPT is the better pick
QuQi is not the answer to everything ChatGPT does. Stay with it, or use both, if this sounds like you.
- You want one subscription for questions, research, code, docs and decks, and even a small hosted site through Sites.
- You need an agent that opens sites in a cloud browser, signs in and acts, or dots that keep working between chats.
- You want a free plan and a directory of more than 1,400 plugins, with WordPress.com, Semrush and Canva among them.
Moving from ChatGPT to QuQi
- 01
Move your custom GPT’s rules
When you add your site, QuQi works out the brand kit from it: colours, logo and the words you favour. Paste the instructions you gave a custom GPT or a project into the Copywriter and Social Copywriter Instructions boxes, and every article and post after that follows them.
- 02
Connect once, then set the switches
Add your CMS and social accounts on QuQi’s Integrations page. Then pick, for articles, for posts and for page fixes, whether each goes out by itself or waits for your OK.
- 03
Keep ChatGPT open
Use ChatGPT for the questions of the day and let the crew take the weekly articles, the daily posts and Friday’s video. After a month, look at what went live from each.

ChatGPT alternative: common questions
Is there a free ChatGPT alternative for marketing?
QuQi’s free plan audits your site and reads your business, which shows you what the crew would work on before you pay. Writing, publishing and posting start on a paid plan. ChatGPT’s own free plan covers chat, with limits on uploads, voice and deep research.
Can ChatGPT post to Instagram for me?
Not by itself. A scheduler’s plugin, such as Postiz, can draft, schedule and publish from ChatGPT on that scheduler’s plan. QuQi’s Social Copywriter posts to Instagram and eight more channels, with a picture or carousel made for each post.
Can ChatGPT still make videos?
Not since Sora. OpenAI closed the app in April 2026 and the API in September, and the plans list no video. QuQi’s Video Producer makes a short video each week with a voice, music and your products, which you post from the library or the chat.
Does ChatGPT publish to WordPress?
The WordPress.com plugin, made by Automattic, can publish and schedule posts from ChatGPT. QuQi publishes to self-hosted WordPress through its plugin or an application password, and to WordPress.com, Shopify, Webflow, Ghost and Notion.
Will QuQi write in my voice the way my custom GPT does?
It reads the voice from your site when you add it, including the phrases you use and the ones you avoid. Put your custom GPT’s instructions in a teammate’s Instructions box and the next article or post follows them.
