QuQi vs Synthesia: two video tools for two audiences
Synthesia is the stronger pick for training, with lifelike avatars, 140+ languages, dubbing, SCORM and interactive roleplays. QuQi makes short brand videos for social channels from your website, as one teammate in a crew that also posts every day, writes articles and works on your search results. Knowing who will watch your videos usually settles it.
- Your videos are for staff, courses and onboarding.
- You need the same video in many languages, with lip sync.
- You need SCORM, quizzes or roleplay practice.
- Your videos are for customers on Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.
- You want your products and your brand’s type in every film.
- You want daily posts and SEO handled by the same crew.

What each one costs
Synthesia’s self-serve plans are for one editor and come with credits that start again each period, spent at about 100 a finished minute, while Enterprise is quoted with unlimited minutes. QuQi bills each website, and one balance of credits covers its videos, pictures, posts and articles, with unused plan credits kept for one more month.

Using Synthesia and QuQi together
Plenty of companies need both kinds of video. Synthesia can hold the training library, the onboarding course and the policy updates in every language your staff speak, while Video Producer makes the short weekly film about your products for the people who buy them.
Videos you make in Synthesia can join the rest of your posts. Download the MP4, drop it into QuQi’s chat with a caption, and pick the channels and the time you want.

QuQi vs Synthesia: common questions
Is QuQi cheaper than Synthesia?
It depends on what you count. Synthesia charges for one editor’s credits, spent by the finished minute. QuQi charges per website, and the same balance pays for videos, posts, articles and SEO work. The pricing section above shows both lists as published.
Does Synthesia make vertical videos for TikTok and Reels?
Yes. Its editor switches a video to 9:16, 1:1, 4:5 and other sizes, and you move the elements to suit the new shape. QuQi composes each scene for the shape you ask for and can post the film to TikTok, Instagram and YouTube.
How many languages does each one cover?
Synthesia’s presenters speak 140+ languages, and dubbing covers 70+ on self-serve plans and 140+ on Enterprise. QuQi writes and voices in your website’s language by default, and a film can be made in another language when you ask.
Which is the better fit for a small business?
If the videos are for customers and nobody has time to post them, QuQi covers more of the work. If they are for training, or need a presenter in many languages, Synthesia does that better.
Does Synthesia have an API?
Yes, for video and dubbing, plus an Interactive Avatar API and a hosted MCP server in public beta. QuQi’s REST API, webhooks and MCP server cover the crew’s own work: posts, articles, audits and page fixes.
