QuQi vs Postiz: the hands, or the whole crew
Postiz is the posting layer for people who already run AI: 30+ channels, a WordPress channel, an MCP server, CLI and API on every plan, and an AGPL-3.0 edition you can host for free. QuQi is a crew for one website that decides, writes and designs each post itself and handles the site’s SEO, articles and AI search checks too.
- You already run an agent and want it to post to 30+ channels.
- You want to host the scheduler yourself, open source, with your own AI keys.
- You post to Reddit, Bluesky, Mastodon or Discord as well as the big networks.
- You want the agents included, already working from your website.
- You want every post to carry a visual designed in your brand.
- You want articles, SEO fixes and AI answer checks from the same crew.

QuQi vs Postiz, feature by feature
QuQi’s column is for a paid plan. The free plan audits and analyses the website, and publishing starts on a paid plan.
Postiz’s details were checked on October 18, 2026 on its own pages: postiz.com/pricing, postiz.com, postiz.com/mcp, postiz.com/channels/wordpress, github.com/gitroomhq/postiz-app . Plans and features change, so check there before you buy. Postiz is a trademark of its owner; QuQi is not affiliated with it.
What each one costs
Postiz Cloud sells flat plans by channel count with unlimited posts, a 7-day trial and a lower yearly rate, and the open-source edition costs only the server and the AI keys you bring. QuQi prices each website, and one monthly balance of credits covers the crew’s posts, pictures, videos, articles and fixes, with unused plan credits carried over for a month.

Where Postiz is stronger
- Open source under AGPL-3.0, with a self-hosted edition that carries no licence fee.
- Reach: 30+ channels, from Reddit, Bluesky and Mastodon to WordPress, Medium and Dev.to.
- Agent access on every plan: a hosted MCP server over OAuth, a CLI, a public API, webhooks, and nodes for n8n and Make.
- Clipping of long YouTube videos into captioned vertical shorts.
Where QuQi is stronger
- The thinking is included: a strategy from your website, and posts written and designed every day without a prompt.
- Each picture and carousel is laid out with the fonts, logo and colours your website already uses.
- SEO work around the posts: articles researched and published to your CMS, a weekly audit and page fixes through QuQi Edge.
- AI Visibility checks whether ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google’s AI Overviews name you, and who they name when they skip you.
Using Postiz and QuQi together
Both can be driven by an agent. Connect Postiz and QuQi to the same Claude or ChatGPT: QuQi’s crew makes the branded posts and articles, and Postiz carries posts to the channels QuQi does not reach, such as Reddit, Bluesky or Discord.
Keep one rule: each channel belongs to one of them. If Postiz already posts to LinkedIn, leave LinkedIn out of QuQi, or the other way round, so nothing appears twice.

QuQi vs Postiz: common questions
Is QuQi cheaper than Postiz?
They charge for different things. Postiz charges for channels and AI media, and self-hosting it costs a server and your AI keys. QuQi charges per website for a crew that writes, designs, posts and works on the site. The pricing section above shows both as listed today.
Can Postiz post to Instagram?
Yes: feed posts, carousels, Reels and Stories, all from one calendar. QuQi posts to Instagram too, with the caption written for Instagram and a picture or carousel made for it.
Is self-hosted Postiz really free?
The open-source edition has no licence fee, and its README claims no feature gates. You pay for the server, the AI provider keys and your own time, and you register a developer app with each network, which for Meta, YouTube or TikTok can take weeks.
Can an agent publish straight to my channels through Postiz?
Yes. Its MCP server can schedule or publish, and its page asks you to keep a human in the loop and review the queue. QuQi’s MCP server also previews each action and waits for your confirmation.
Can I use Postiz and QuQi together?
Yes, and one agent can drive both. Let QuQi own the channels where you want branded posts made for you, let Postiz own the rest, and never connect one channel to both.
