AI agents and automation

QuQi vs Make: design every scenario, or let the crew run it

Make is a flexible, low-cost canvas for automations and agents, with hosted MCP and the Maia builder to help you wire them. QuQi is a crew for one website that audits, writes, designs and posts on its own calendar. Make suits custom plumbing across your apps, and QuQi suits owners who want the marketing done.

Choose Make if
  • You want to see and control every branch of a workflow.
  • You automate operations across many apps, well beyond marketing.
  • You run small volumes and want the lowest cost per run.
Choose QuQi if
  • You want a blog and a social feed running with no scenario to debug.
  • You want each post’s picture in your fonts, logo and colours.
  • You want an SEO audit and AI search checks next to the writing.

Who does the work, step by step

Five jobs in automating a website’s content, and who handles each.

01

Build the flow

With MakeYou drag modules onto the canvas or ask Maia to draft the scenario, then connect each app.
With QuQiYou add your website; QuQi sets each teammate’s days and runs the first audit at once.
02

Find the topic

With MakeAI Web Search, in beta, brings live results into the scenario; keyword data is a module you add.
With QuQiCopywriter picks the keyword with the best chance and reads what already ranks for it.
03

Get the visuals

With MakeAn OpenAI image module, Canva, Figma or stock photos supply the picture, each call paid in credits.
With QuQiEach post gets a picture or carousel laid out in your brand, and Video Producer adds a short video every week.
04

Publish

With MakeWordPress, Ghost, Webflow, Instagram and LinkedIn modules publish what earlier modules pass them.
With QuQiArticles go to your CMS and posts to every connected channel, or wait for your OK where you asked.
05

Keep an eye on it

With MakeYou check the logs, handle errors and watch the credit balance; when it runs out, scenarios stop.
With QuQiThe crew keeps its calendar, and once Search Console is connected, Copywriter learns which articles earned clicks.

What each one costs

Make sells credits per month on a slider, and most module actions use one, with AI agents adding tokens unless you bring your own provider key. Credits expire at the end of each term, except on yearly Pro and above, which keep them for 12 months. QuQi sells a plan per website whose credits the crew shares, and unused plan credits stay for one more month.

Where Make is stronger

  • A visual canvas with routers, filters, iterators and error handlers for branching flows.
  • A low price to start at small volumes, with unlimited users on every plan.
  • Hosted MCP and AI agents on every plan, plus connectors for Claude and ChatGPT.
  • Quick model coverage: new Claude, GPT and Gemini models reach its modules within weeks.

Where QuQi is stronger

  • A ready crew for one website, with no scenario to build, test or debug.
  • Pictures, carousels and short videos in your website’s own fonts, logo and colours.
  • SEO Auditor’s weekly audit, and Page Optimizer’s fixes live through QuQi Edge.
  • Nine channels from one post idea, each version worded for its network.

Using Make and QuQi together

Make and QuQi can split the work. QuQi’s webhooks tell a Make scenario each time a post or an article is published, so you can log it, alert the team or start a follow-up of your own.

Because Make also speaks MCP, an agent there can reach QuQi’s MCP server with an API key or a sign-in, to read your site’s SEO health or ask for a post, which is previewed and confirmed before it goes out.

QuQi vs Make: common questions

Is QuQi cheaper than Make?

For moving data between apps, Make costs less per run. QuQi bills per website for a crew that also researches, writes, designs and audits, so the two buy different things. Both price lists are in the pricing section above, as read on the checked date.

Can I use Make and QuQi together?

Yes. Keep your business scenarios on Make and let QuQi run the website’s marketing. QuQi’s webhooks can start a scenario, and Make’s MCP client can reach QuQi’s MCP server.

Can I self-host Make?

No. Make runs in its own cloud on AWS, in the EU or North America, and its pricing table lists no self-hosted option. QuQi is hosted too, and your articles publish into your own CMS.

What is Maia by Make?

Maia builds and debugs scenarios from a prompt. It comes with paid plans, and the free plan gets a 30-day trial of 45 messages. The scenario it builds is still yours to run and look after, while QuQi has none to build.
