Size and fit copy that cuts returns
Use when a product gets returned for fit and the size guide is not doing its job.
Write size and fit copy for {{PRODUCT_NAME}} sold by {{BRAND_NAME}}.
Inputs:
- Size chart: {{SIZE_CHART}}
- Garment or product measurements: {{PRODUCT_MEASUREMENTS}}
- Fit notes from the buying team: {{FIT_NOTES}}
- Return reasons recorded so far: {{RETURN_REASONS}}
Produce:
1. FIT SUMMARY - one sentence naming the fit against a reference point the shopper knows.
2. SIZING ADVICE - a short block answering: does it run true to size, who should size up, who should size down. Base each answer on the measurements or return reasons, and say which.
3. MEASURED ON MODEL - a line stating the model height and size worn, using {{MODEL_DETAILS}}.
4. HOW TO MEASURE YOURSELF - 3 numbered steps for the measurements that matter most on this product.
5. FIT FAQ - 3 questions with answers under 40 words.
Rules:
- Never state a measurement not present in the inputs.
- Do not use vague terms alone. "Relaxed" must be followed by the measurement that makes it relaxed.
- If return reasons and fit notes disagree, say so plainly and recommend the cautious option.
- No em dashes.
Fill in before running
Replace each placeholder with your own detail. The more specific you are, the less the model invents.

Getting a better result
-
1
Return reason data beats the buying team's opinion. Say which source each piece of advice came from so you can audit it.
-
2
Put the size up or size down line above the size selector, not inside a collapsed tab.

If you sell the same block across products, generate once and reuse rather than regenerating per SKU.
