Link Exchange
Earns credits by hosting other members’ links in your articles, and spends them getting links pointed at your pages — within the backlink settings you choose.
What it is in charge of
It starts with one responsibility: earn backlinks through the exchange, within the website’s backlink settings.
What one batch does
A batch runs one round of the exchange: it checks the links placed so far, lets stale offers go, and offers new partners links, up to your monthly number of proposals. It reports the round back in the batch’s chat.
- Matched links are placed inside your articles as they are written — at most three in one article, each to a different member, each in its own paragraph.
- A matched link waits three weeks for an article to carry it. If none does, it is dropped.
- A page receives between one and three links from the exchange, so no page turns into a list of other people’s links.
- Every night, the links placed so far are checked to make sure they are still live.
How the credits work
Prices follow Domain Rating. Hosting a link on a site rated 40 earns 40 credits — so a stronger site earns more for hosting, and costs more to be hosted on. Your plan grants backlink credits each month, and the Backlinks page shows your balance and every link placed.
