Copywriter

Turns one keyword into one finished article, with its images, its links and its structure already decided.

What it does

The Copywriter has no Run button, because there is nothing to write until something is chosen. Hand it a keyword or a planned calendar item and it writes the article: the outline, the sections, the internal links, the images and the closing call to action.

An article you ask for outside the planner still lands on your calendar, in today’s slot, so everything you have written lives in one place.

Writing one article uses one Article from your plan’s monthly allowance. If the article fails to generate, the allowance is given back and the calendar item is marked failed with the reason attached — nothing is silently lost.

OJO On autopilot, an article only reaches your live website when the mode is Publish it. Draft and Ask me never publish, whatever the Auto-publish switch says. On Ask me, you get a message pointing at the draft article to read, rather than a one-tap publish.

Pushing a finished article to your website needs a plan that includes CMS publishing. Generating the article and publishing it are two different things.

Skills

The Copywriter’s skills are the three things it does to every article. The style is not one of them — that is chosen per article by the Content Planner and arrives on the calendar item, so the writer follows the plan rather than holding an opinion of its own.

SKILLWHAT IT DOESWHAT IT CHANGES
Content & SEO The article itself — whether it publishes on its own, how many internal links it carries, and anything you want said in every piece. Auto-publish, internal links, and your global instructions.
Shopify products A branded block of your real products after the conclusion, matched to the article’s keyword. Whether the block appears, how many products, its heading and its button.
Engagement Everything that makes the page worth staying on — pictures, a contents list, a video, infographics, a closing call to action. Brand colour, picture style, and each of those extras on or off.

Settings

There are a lot of them. You can leave every one alone and still get articles — these are here for when one thing about the output is not what you want.

Two things you might expect here are not: the style an article is written in and how long it runs both belong to the Content Planner, which stamps them onto each calendar item. The writer reads them off the item it was handed, so that is the one place to change either.

SETTINGWHAT IT CHANGESDEFAULT
Auto-publish Whether a finished article is pushed to your website rather than left as a draft. On
Internal Links How many links to your own pages go into an article: none, 1, 2, 3 or 5. 3
Global Article Instructions Standing directions applied to every article you write. Empty
Featured products at the end of each article Adds a product block under the article. Needs the QuQi app installed on your Shopify store. Off
How many featured products How many products that block shows: 1, 2, 3, 4 or 6. It is headed Featured products and carries a Shop now button. 3
Brand Color The colour used in infographics and in the Shopify featured-products block. The featured image only uses it when Title-Based Featured Image is on, or when Image Style is Brand & Text. Generating a Brand Kit fills this in for you, unless you have already picked a colour by hand. #141414
Image Style The look of the images inside an article: Brand & Text, Watercolor, Cinematic, Illustration or Sketch. Cinematic
Title-Based Featured Image Puts the article title and your brand colour on the featured image. Off
Featured Image Style Sketch, Watercolor or Illustration — used only when Title-Based Featured Image is on, and dimmed until it is. With that off, the featured image follows Image Style instead. Illustration
Table of Contents Whether a contents list is added near the top. On
YouTube video embedding Whether a relevant video is embedded in the article. On
Call-to-Action Whether the article closes by asking the reader to do something. On
Section images Whether sections get their own images. On
Infographics Whether the article may include an infographic. On
Mentions of similar products Whether the article may mention products like yours. On
Include Emojis Whether emoji may appear in the writing. Off
First Person Writing Whether the article may refer to you as “I” and “my”, for a more personal tone. Off means it is written in third person only. Off
Autopilot Whether articles are written without you, and how far that goes. There is no cadence here — the timing comes from the calendar slot the planner chose. See Autopilot. Off
