Connect Shopify

How to publish articles to your store blog, what a store connection adds beyond articles, and how to check it worked.

4 min de lectura All plans

A Shopify store connects through the QuQi app on the Shopify App Store — a one-time install, with no tokens to copy. Once it is connected, articles publish to your store’s blog, and the Shopify Blog card takes your single publishing slot.

EMPIECE AQUÍ There is no token form in QuQi. The Shopify Blog card under Publishing shows the steps and a button to get the app; QuQi never asks for your Shopify login.

Connect your store

1
Open Integrations
Find Shopify Blog under Publishing and press Set up.
2
Install the QuQi app
From the Shopify App Store, on your store. The card’s button takes you there.
3
Paste an API key in the app
Create one in QuQi under Settings → API Keys, paste it into the app, and pick this website.
4
Pick the blog in the app
The card lights up on its own, and articles publish to the blog you pick in the app.

A destination connected this way is labelled as managed in the Shopify app on the Integrations page, and QuQi publishes back through the app. Stores connected before the app existed keep publishing as they did.

What a store connection adds

Shopify is the one integration that does more than publish articles.

FEATUREWHAT IT DOESDEFAULT
Featured products Ends each article with a block of your products, headed Featured products with a Shop now button. It needs the QuQi app installed on your store. Off, 3 products
Products as picture elements Wire a product into a picture or video in the Studio and it is made from the product’s real photographs rather than an invented one. Attached by you
Product videos The Product in hand template in the Studio builds a video around one of your products, from its real photographs. Chosen by you

Checking it worked

1
Look at the Integrations page
The Shopify Blog card shows as connected, managed in the Shopify app.
2
Publish one article by hand
Open a written article and press its publish button, then open your store blog and read it.
3
Try a picture with a product
In the Studio, start a picture, wire one of your products in as an element, and run it.
OJO Publishing to your store blog needs a plan that includes CMS publishing.
