Set up a teammate
Every field a teammate has, what each one changes, how to switch one off or remove it, and how to add a teammate of your own.
A teammate is one short card. It says who the teammate is, what it is in charge of, how it should work, which tools it may use, and whether it asks you first. There is no long settings page behind it: how articles are written, how the site is crawled and how you take part in the backlink exchange belong to the website, under Website settings.
Opening a teammate
Press Agent in the menu. The crew sits at the top of the chat sidebar as a row of faces. Click one to open that teammate: its tasks, what it waits on you for, its batches on the calendar, and whether it publishes on its own or asks you first. Edit opens its card.

Responsibilities and instructions
The two boxes do different jobs. Responsibilities say what the teammate is for: “Keep Instagram and LinkedIn active: one post a day, with a picture.” Instructions say how it should work: “Keep our posts warm and short. Never use emojis. Link to the pricing page when it fits.”
A batch adds a third layer, its own Brief, for that batch only. Put a standing rule in the teammate and a one-off request in the batch.
Tools
Tools are what a teammate can actually do: read the SEO issues, write an article, publish a post, apply a page fix, make a picture, put work on the calendar. With Every tool off they are listed in groups — look things up, do the work, content, pages, AI search and links, Studio, publish, calendar, website settings, crew — each with a tick box.
Every teammate can see the crew and ask a teammate for help, whatever you tick. Every teammate can also see the calendar and add, move or skip its batches.
Switching a teammate off
Turn On off and the teammate stays in your crew, keeps its chats and keeps its batches on the calendar, but does no work. A batch that comes round while it is off is skipped. Switching it back on picks up at the next batch, not every one it missed.
Removing a teammate
Any teammate can be removed, the eight you started with included. It leaves your crew with its calendar batches. Its chats stay with you, and anything it made — articles, posts, pictures, videos — stays in QuQi.
Adding your own teammate
A teammate you add works like the eight: it can be scheduled, asked, handed work and switched off. Your plan still applies to what it does — an article it writes counts against your articles like any other. You can also ask the lead in a chat to add, change or remove a teammate for you.
Who can change the crew
The website’s owner and admins can add, change and remove teammates. Editors work with the crew, and viewers can read its chats. See Team and roles.
