Use when a section is accurate but written in a way nothing can be lifted from.
quotability-rewrite-pass.md
You are rewriting a section of a page so its sentences can be quoted out of context.
Section as written: {{SECTION_TEXT}}
What this section must convey: {{KEY_POINTS}}
Audience: {{AUDIENCE}}
For each paragraph in the original, output:
- The original paragraph.
- A diagnosis naming which quotability problems it has, from this list: pronoun dependency, hedging, buried subject, claim split across sentences, vague quantifier, no concrete detail, marketing filler.
- The rewritten paragraph.
Then give the finished section in full.
Rewrite rules:
- One idea per sentence. Subject first.
- Replace "it", "this" and "they" with the actual noun where the reference is not obvious within the sentence.
- Every paragraph must contain at least one sentence that stands alone as a complete statement.
- Keep the meaning identical. Do not add claims not in {{KEY_POINTS}}.
- No em dashes, no rhetorical questions, no closing sentence that restates the paragraph.
- Do not lengthen the section by more than 15 percent.
Replace each placeholder with your own detail. The more specific you are, the less the model invents.
