AI agents and automation

QuQi vs Gemini Spark: tasks you set, or a calendar already filled

Gemini Spark, now Tasks in Gemini, is the wider tool: a personal agent that watches your Gmail, keeps your calendar, edits your documents and browses for you on a schedule. QuQi is narrower and starts from your website, with a crew that audits it, fixes pages, publishes articles, posts daily on nine networks and checks what AI answers say about you.

Choose Gemini Spark if
  • Most of your work happens in Gmail, Calendar, Docs and Drive.
  • You want jobs that start when a matching email lands.
  • You already pay for a Google AI plan with Tasks and want the agent included.
Choose QuQi if
  • You want the blog fed and published without writing a single schedule.
  • You post on Instagram, LinkedIn or TikTok, which no Gemini app reaches.
  • Your business runs on a Workspace account, which Tasks does not support yet.

Who does the work, step by step

One week of a website’s marketing, step by step, with Spark and with QuQi.

01

Set the routine

With Gemini SparkYou write each task, pick its trigger (a time, a Gmail filter or a news topic) and add a skill for how to do it.
With QuQiAdding the website starts it: QuQi reads the business, drafts the strategy, builds a brand kit and books each teammate’s days.
02

Check the site

With Gemini SparkA task can open your pages in a browser and report what it sees; Google describes no audit tool behind it.
With QuQiSEO Auditor crawls the site on Monday against 56 checks, and Page Optimizer writes the fixes on Tuesday.
03

Write the article

With Gemini SparkIt drafts a document in Docs when a task asks, and you take it from there.
With QuQiCopywriter chooses the keyword, reads the top Google results and writes each section in your voice.
04

Make the visuals

With Gemini SparkNano Banana makes images inside a task and Omni makes video, each kept as its own file.
With QuQiEvery post gets a picture or carousel in your fonts and colours, and Video Producer makes a short video on Fridays.
05

Get it live

With Gemini SparkWebflow, Wix, Squarespace or Shopify apps where your account has them, Hootsuite drafts for social, and the rest by hand.
With QuQiArticles go to your CMS and posts to every connected channel at their time, or wait for your OK if you ask.

What each one costs

Spark has no price of its own: it comes with a Google AI plan that includes Tasks, priced per Google account, with usage that refreshes every 5 hours up to a weekly limit. QuQi bills each website on its own plan, and the crew draws on that plan’s credits each month, with unused ones carried into the next.

Where Gemini Spark is stronger

  • Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive and Keep actions, with a check before it changes a shared document.
  • Triggers beyond the clock: an email that matches a filter, or news, finance and sports topics, with up to 50 schedules.
  • Your own Chrome on desktop or a cloud browser, pausing so you can sign in or take over.
  • Open formats: skills written as SKILL.md and, for US accounts in English, custom MCP apps.

Where QuQi is stronger

  • A crawler of its own, 56 checks a week and page fixes served through QuQi Edge with an undo.
  • Publishing to WordPress, WordPress.com, Ghost and Notion as well as Shopify and Webflow.
  • A daily post on nine networks, Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok among them, each with a picture or carousel.
  • A weekly check of what Gemini, Google’s AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity say about your business.

Using Gemini Spark and QuQi together

Split the work by where it lives. Spark keeps the personal and office side: the inbox, the calendar, the Docs and the errands in Chrome. QuQi keeps the website’s week: the Monday audit, articles on Monday and Thursday, a post every day and a video each Friday.

For US accounts in English, Gemini can add a custom app by its MCP server address, and QuQi offers an MCP server. Linked that way, Gemini could ask QuQi for a site health check or a post, and each write action waits for your confirmation on both sides.

QuQi vs Gemini Spark: common questions

Is QuQi cheaper than Gemini Spark?

It depends on what you count. A Google AI plan with Tasks also pays for storage, Gemini’s models and other Google extras on one account. QuQi’s plan pays for one website’s crew, with team seats inside. Both plans sit side by side in the pricing section, as listed on the day we checked.

Can I use Gemini Spark and QuQi together?

Yes. Leave Gmail, Calendar and Docs to Spark and the website’s marketing to QuQi. Where Gemini accepts custom MCP apps, it can reach QuQi’s MCP server, and QuQi shows each action for you to confirm.

Can Gemini Spark do SEO for my website?

Google’s pages describe no site audit, keyword data or rank tracking for tasks, though a task can open your pages in a browser. QuQi’s SEO Auditor crawls the site every week, and Page Optimizer writes new titles, descriptions and schema that go live through QuQi Edge where you use it.

Can Gemini Spark publish to WordPress?

Google’s Connected Apps table has no WordPress app; its Webflow, Squarespace, Shopify and Wix apps edit content and designs, mostly for US accounts in English. QuQi publishes to WordPress through its plugin or an application password, and to Shopify, Webflow, Ghost and Notion.

Does Gemini Spark work on a Google Workspace account?

Not for now: Google’s help page says work and school accounts are not supported, and Google has announced a separate agent for businesses in Gemini Enterprise. QuQi’s plans include team seats, with owner, admin, editor and viewer roles.
