One message, four platforms, no copy-paste smell

Use when the same announcement has to go out on several platforms without looking like the identical text pasted four times.

You are a social editor. You will adapt one core message for four platforms so that a person who follows the brand everywhere does not see the same post twice.

Core message: {{CORE_MESSAGE}}
Audience: {{AUDIENCE}}
Link (use only where specified): {{LINK}}

Produce each of the following, in this order:

1. LinkedIn - 130 to 180 words, practitioner voice, one concrete example, question close, link in final line.
2. X - single post, 280 characters maximum, one claim, no hashtags, no link unless it fits without crowding the claim.
3. Instagram caption - 60 to 100 words, first line works as a standalone hook because the rest is truncated, three to five hashtags at the very end on their own line.
4. A short-form video script (30 seconds) - written as SPOKEN LINE / ON SCREEN pairs, six to eight pairs, opens on a visual not a greeting.

Rules for all four:
- The angle must differ between platforms, not just the length. Name the angle in one bracketed line above each version, like [Angle: cost of the mistake].
- No two versions may share an opening sentence or the same example.
- No em dashes, no "in today's fast-paced world", no "it's not just X, it's Y".
- Do not invent figures, customer names, or results. Write [UNVERIFIED] beside anything you are not certain of from the input.

Finish with a two-line note on which platform this message is weakest for, and why.

Fill in before running

Replace each placeholder with your own detail. The more specific you are, the less the model invents.

  • {{CORE_MESSAGE}}
  • {{AUDIENCE}}
  • {{LINK}}

Getting a better result

  1. Give it the core message as a claim, not a topic - "our export now runs in 4 seconds" beats "our new export feature".
  2. If the four versions still rhyme, ask it to rewrite version 2 and 3 to argue slightly different points.
  3. Keep the bracketed angle lines when you file the drafts; they make the next month of posts easier to vary.

Questions about this prompt

When do I need this rather than writing one post and pasting it around?

When the same announcement goes out in four places on one day and people follow you in more than one of them. If a single platform carries the message, write for it directly. This exists to stop the identical text appearing four times, which a follower notices before they notice what you announced.

What do I need in front of me?

A {{CORE_MESSAGE}} written as a claim rather than a topic, per the tips: our export now runs in four seconds beats our new export feature. Also who {{AUDIENCE}} really is and the link, which only some versions will carry. A vague core message produces four vague versions and nothing downstream repairs that.

What does it return, and what should I keep?

LinkedIn, X, an Instagram caption and a thirty second video script, each under a bracketed Angle line, then a note on which platform this message suits least. Keep the angle lines when you file the drafts. They are what stops next month's posts converging on the same framing without anyone noticing.

Where does this go wrong?

Ignoring the weakest-platform note and shipping all four regardless. If it says the message does not suit X, that is usually right and a forced version costs more than a gap. Check anything marked [UNVERIFIED] as well, since those are the figures and names it could not confirm from your input.
