QuQi vs Byword: hundreds of articles, or the whole routine
Byword is made for volume: campaigns of articles written in parallel, programmatic pages, publishing to six CMSs, an API and an MCP server with review gates. QuQi puts a crew on one website; it writes fewer articles and carries the work further: posts on nine social networks with pictures, short videos, page fixes and AI answer checks.
- You need dozens or hundreds of articles every month.
- You build pages from templates and spreadsheet rows.
- Your blog runs on Framer, HubSpot or Medium.
- You want a social post every day, each with its own picture.
- You want a weekly video and fixed page titles from the same team.
- You want AI answers checked on four engines every week.

QuQi vs Byword, feature by feature
QuQi’s column is for a paid plan. The free plan audits and analyses the website, and publishing starts on a paid plan.
Byword’s details were checked on October 18, 2026 on its own pages: byword.ai/pricing, byword.ai/learn/docs/integrations/overview, byword.ai/docs/mcp, byword.ai/learn/docs/features/research, byword.ai/learn/docs/content/programmatic . Plans and features change, so check there before you buy. Byword is a trademark of its owner; QuQi is not affiliated with it.
What each one costs
Byword prices by articles a month, with one credit per article, credits that never expire and extra credits at the plan’s rate, plus an Unlimited plan where you pay the AI providers yourself. QuQi bills each website separately, and the crew draws every article, post, picture, video and fix from a single credit balance that the plan refills each month.

Billed per website. The whole crew shares the credits, and unused plan credits carry over for a month. See pricing

Where Byword is stronger
- Scale: campaigns write many articles in parallel, and the Scale plan includes 300 a month.
- Programmatic SEO: templates filled from CSV, Google Sheets or Airtable rows, with 50+ templates to start from.
- Publishing to Framer, HubSpot and Medium as well as WordPress, Webflow and Ghost, with Yoast, Rank Math and AIOSEO fields.
- Developer reach: a REST API, webhooks, Zapier, Make and an MCP server whose review mode gates spending, publishing and live edits.
Where QuQi is stronger
- Social: a daily post on as many as nine networks, every one with a picture or carousel that uses your site’s own fonts, logo and colours.
- Video: one short film a week, with narration, a music bed and the products from your shop.
- Technical SEO: 56 checks across the site every Monday, and fixes served through QuQi Edge that you can take back.
- AI answers: weekly checks on ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google’s AI Overviews.
Using Byword and QuQi together
Byword and QuQi can work the same site. Let Byword run the large campaigns and the programmatic pages, and let QuQi take the routine around them: articles that answer a fresh keyword, a post a day on each network, the weekly video and the page fixes.
To keep them apart, write the subjects Byword already handles into the Copywriter’s Instructions box. If you would rather read each crew article first, turn the Articles switch to wait.

QuQi vs Byword: common questions
Is QuQi cheaper than Byword?
It depends on what you count. Byword charges by the article, and each one costs less on bigger plans. QuQi’s price is per website and covers more than articles: the posts, pictures, videos and page fixes come out of the same credits. The section above shows both price lists as their sites print them.
Can I use Byword and QuQi together?
Yes. One split that works: Byword for bulk and template pages, QuQi for what happens after publishing, from posts to videos and page fixes. Where both write for one blog, list Byword’s topics in the Copywriter’s Instructions box so the two never overlap.
Does Byword have an MCP server like QuQi?
Yes, both do. Byword’s works with Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and Codex, and can write, publish, submit for indexing and edit live titles, with a review mode for spending and publishing. QuQi’s gives Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor its audit findings, article and post writing, and fix and publish actions, and confirms each change before it runs.
Which one fixes pages on a live site?
Both can, in different ways. Byword’s MCP can preview and apply title, meta description and H1 edits to live pages. QuQi’s Page Optimizer rewrites titles, descriptions, schema and social previews on the pages its weekly audit flags, serves them through QuQi Edge and can undo each one; without Edge, you get them ready to paste.
Does Byword publish on its own?
By default you press Publish on each finished article. An auto-publish option can queue it right after writing, and it skips articles with figures it could not confirm. QuQi’s crew sends articles and posts out on their own unless you switch them to wait, and holds every page fix until you approve it.
