How to connect your Wix blog with an API key and a site ID, what travels with an article, and why everything lands there as a draft.

The Wix Blog card sits under Publishing on the Integrations page, and articles publish to exactly one destination — so connecting it takes your single publishing slot. QuQi sends finished articles to your Wix blog as drafts. Formatting is simplified on the way, so read a draft in Wix before you publish it there.
START HERE
You need two things from your own Wix account and nothing else: an API key created with Wix Blog permissions, and your site ID. The card asks for those two fields and never for your Wix login.
What connecting gives you
- A written article can be pushed to your Wix blog from the article page, with Publish to Wix Blog, or from its card on the calendar, with Publish.
- Once it is connected, it is also where an article published on autopilot goes.
- Everything arrives as a draft. QuQi never makes a post live on your site — you press publish inside Wix.
- Because the post is a draft, it has no public address yet, so QuQi keeps no link back to it and the article shows none after publishing.

Only the words travel. Anything the table below marks as not sent is yours to add in Wix before you publish the draft.

Press Set up on the Wix Blog card
From Integrations, under Publishing. Make sure you are on the right website first.

Create an API key in Wix
In your Wix account under API keys, create one that has Wix Blog permissions, and copy it.

Copy your site ID
It is the part of your Wix site dashboard address that follows
/dashboard/.

Paste both in and press Connect
The key is masked as you type it. The button reads Verifying… while QuQi asks Wix for your blog, and nothing is stored unless that answer comes back clean.

That is the whole set-up
There is nothing to choose afterwards. The drawer closes, a Wix Blog connected message appears, and the site ID you gave is the destination.
GOOD TO KNOW
While connecting, QuQi also looks for a member of your site to credit as the author on the drafts it creates. That part is optional — if your key cannot read members, the connection still succeeds and the drafts simply arrive with no author set.
If the connection is refused
A refusal shows in a red band inside the drawer and nothing is saved, so you can correct a field and try again straight away.

Look at the Integrations page
Wix Blog shows a green Connected badge with the start of your site ID under it, and the other publishing cards drop their Set up button for an “in use” note.

Publish one article by hand
Open a written article on the calendar and press Publish to Wix Blog. QuQi confirms the draft was created and tells you to publish it from your Wix dashboard.

Read the draft in Wix
Add the pictures, tags and SEO fields QuQi does not send, then publish it there yourself.
If publishing fails later
A credential that worked when you connected it can stop working. When Wix refuses a stored key, the Wix Blog card turns to a red Error badge with the reason printed under it, and asks you to reconnect. If Wix refuses the draft itself for another reason, the card carries Wix’s own explanation instead.
CAREFUL
Every press of Publish to Wix Blog creates a fresh draft. There is no update-in-place for Wix — the button never turns into an update button the way it does for some other destinations — so publishing the same article twice leaves you with two drafts to tidy up.
CAREFUL
Publishing from a card on the calendar, and publishing on autopilot, need a plan that includes CMS publishing — during the trial both are refused. Publish to Wix Blog on the article page is not checked that way, so it still works during the trial.
GOOD TO KNOW
Your key is proven to work before it is stored, and it is stored encrypted. Disconnecting removes it from QuQi and stops QuQi publishing there, but it revokes nothing at Wix — the key keeps working until you delete it in your Wix account.
