Every agent ships switched off. Nothing writes, posts or publishes until you say so — and when you do say so, you say how far, not just yes. That is what the four rungs are for.

The four rungs
You set the rung once per agent. It applies to everything that agent does.

Setting it
Four agents can be put on autopilot: the Content Planner, the Social Planner, the Copywriter and the Social Copywriter. On those, the control lives at the top of the settings page, above the skills. Every other agent has no autopilot control and only runs when you ask it to.
The two writers — the Copywriter and the Social Copywriter — are the ones that offer all four rungs. The two planners offer fewer, because a planner only ever plans:

VORSICHTThis is the one thing worth getting right. Setting the Content Planner to Publish does not publish anything — it plans, files the calendar items and stops, exactly as Draft would. Articles only go live when the Copywriter is on Publish. The console spells this out on the field itself, where those options read “no effect here”.

Open the agent
From the dashboard, click any agent card, then Settings.

Pick a rung
The control sits at the top of the page, above the skills.

Choose how often
On the two planners only, a How often field sits underneath: every day, once a week, every two weeks or once a month. The Copywriter and the Social Copywriter have no such field — they take their timing from the calendar slot the planner chose.

How often

GUT ZU WISSENA post approval link carries yes and no on it and is good for 24 hours. If it expires the post stays a draft — nothing is lost, and nothing goes out without an answer. An article approval message is different: it links you to the draft behind your login rather than to a yes/no, so it never expires, and you publish, edit or bin the article from there.
What autopilot never does
It never spends past your plan. If the month’s allowance is used up, the agent stops and tells you rather than billing you for more. It never publishes to a channel you have not connected. And it never runs an agent you left switched off.
