How skills work

Skills are the choices an agent picks from. Switching one off narrows the choice; giving one its own setting overrides the agent for that lane alone.

قراءة 5 دقائق All plans

Most agents do the same job in several different shapes. The Content Planner can plan six kinds of article. The Social Planner can plan eight kinds of post. The Social Copywriter can write for nine channels. Each of those shapes is a skill.

Skills sit on the agent’s own settings page, one card each — under the autopilot control on the agents that have one, and first on the page on the agents that do not. You do not pick a skill when you press Run — the agent picks from the ones you left available.

ابدأ من هنا You can leave every skill exactly as it comes. Most start switched on — the exceptions are the Social Planner’s Product spotlight, Offer and New arrival, which start on None a week until you ask for them. Only touch a skill card when you want one lane to behave differently from the rest.

What each agent’s skills are

AGENTITS SKILLS AREWHAT YOU SET ON EACH
Content Planner The six article styles: Informative, How-To Guide, Listicle, Comparison, Roundup, News & Trends. Whether to plan articles in that style
Copywriter Three things it does to every article: Content & SEO, Shopify products, Engagement. The settings inside that part of the article
SEO Auditor Site crawl, Authority score, Speed check. Whether that check runs
Social Planner Eight kinds of post: Promotional, Engagement, Teaching, Click-through, Proof, Product spotlight, Offer, New arrival. That kind’s share of the week
Social Copywriter The nine channels QuQi publishes to. Post style, emoji, and whether it publishes on its own
Image Designer Photography, Illustration, Promo — photo with words, Product shot. The look, and a direction for that kind
Video Producer UGC — talking head, UGC — voice-over, UGC — silent, Product UGC, Commercial, Explainer. Length, music, and extra direction
Link Exchange Hosting links, earning links, and checking links are still live. Whether that lane runs

The other four have nothing to set. The Website Analyzer and the Brand Kit have no skills and no settings at all. The Growth Strategist and the Publisher have no settings page of their own — the Publisher takes its instructions from the Social Copywriter’s channel cards.

Switch things off. Nothing breaks.

Switching one off

Switching a skill off does not break anything. It narrows what the agent has to pick from.

  • Turn off an article style on the Content Planner and it plans from the styles that are left — as long as Article Style is on Mixed, which is where it starts. Pick a single style there and these switches stop mattering: every article is planned in that one style.
  • Set a post kind’s share to None on the Social Planner and it stops planning that kind. The other kinds keep the same total — they just divide it between fewer of them.
  • Turn off a check on the SEO Auditor and the run says so in the terminal rather than quietly skipping it.
  • The Link Exchange lanes are the exception: nothing starts that agent today, so switching a lane on or off changes nothing yet. The nightly link check is the one part still running, and it does not read these.
معلومة مفيدة If you switch every article style off, the Content Planner does not stop. Everything off is treated as everything on, so you never end up with an agent that silently plans nothing.

The Image Designer is the exception to all of this. Which of its four kinds a picture is gets worked out from your brief, not chosen from a menu — you describe what you want and it decides whether that is a photograph, an illustration, a promo or a product shot.

What “follow the agent” means

Some skill settings are a small version of a setting the agent itself has. Where a field offers Same as the agent, or you leave it empty, it follows the agent’s own answer — that is where the Video Producer’s length and music and the Social Copywriter’s emoji start. The rest of the per-skill fields hold a value of their own from the start, and do not follow the agent.

Fill one in and it wins for that skill alone. A channel set to never use emoji stays clean even though the agent allows them.

The Video Producer works a little differently. Its per-style Length and Music set where a brand-new video of that style *starts* — you can still change either before you render, and videos you already made are untouched. They also only reach the three styles a new video can begin as: UGC — talking head, Product UGC and Commercial. Voice-over, silent and Explainer are switches you flip on a video that already has a length and a music setting, so theirs never gets a turn.

معلومة مفيدة Direction boxes are the one thing that never overrides. A skill’s direction is added to your global instructions for that agent, not swapped in for them. Anything you wrote at the agent level still applies.

Skills that are not connected yet

The Social Copywriter’s skills are channels, but its skill cards do not know which accounts you have connected — every channel card reads on whether the account is connected or not. Expanding the agent on the dashboard is where that shows — lit marks for connected channels, dashed marks for the rest, with a count beside them.

An unconnected channel is not a blocked one. You can plan a post for it and write the copy; publishing is the step that needs the connection, and it tells you so at the time rather than dropping the post.

Which channels get written for at all is decided once, on the Social Planner. The Social Copywriter does not ask again.
