Connect Webflow
How to connect a Webflow site with a token, pick the collection your articles land in, and check that a published article really arrived.

QuQi publishes finished articles into a Webflow CMS collection. Connecting is two steps — paste a token, then choose the collection articles land in — and it takes the single publishing slot for that website.

You need a Webflow API token with CMS read and write scopes. Make one in Webflow under Site settings → Apps & integrations → API access. A site token or a workspace token both go in the same field. Only an owner or admin of the website can connect or disconnect anything.
What connecting gives you
- A written article can be published to Webflow as a new CMS item, carrying its title, its slug and its body.
- QuQi creates the item live where it can, so the article is on your site as soon as it is published, and the article gets a clickable link back to it.
- Nothing comes back the other way. Webflow sends QuQi no analytics, your existing CMS items are never imported, and QuQi never updates or deletes an item it created before.
- Webflow holds the one publishing slot. Connecting it while WordPress, Shopify or another destination is connected is refused and names the one to disconnect first, and the other publishing cards then show Webflow as in use.

Open Integrations
Make sure you are on the right website, then find Webflow under Publishing and press Set up.

Create the token in Webflow
Site settings → Apps & integrations → API access. It needs CMS read and write scopes, or QuQi cannot create items.

Paste it into the API token field
That is the only field. QuQi does not ask for your site address, your email or your Webflow password.

Press Connect
QuQi checks the token with Webflow before it stores anything. If Webflow refuses it you see that reason and nothing is saved. What is saved is stored encrypted.

Pick the collection
The drawer stays open and asks which CMS collection articles should land in, listing every collection the token can see across your sites. Choose one and press Save collection. You are asked this even when there is only one collection.

QuQi uses the field with the slug
post-body if there is one, otherwise the first rich text field. A collection with no rich text field gets a title and a slug only, and the body is quietly left out.
Nothing else is sent — no cover image, no meta description, no tags, no categories, no author and no publish date.
Checking it worked

Look at the card
It shows a green Connected badge and a line reading your site name and the collection you chose. If it still says Pick a collection to finish setup, the second step was never finished and publishing will refuse until you open the card and choose one.

Publish one article by hand
Open a written article on the calendar and press Publish. You should get a “Published.” message.

Open the item in Webflow
Read it there before you let autopilot publish on its own. A link back means the item went live, but a missing link does not always mean it did not — QuQi only builds a link when it knows both your site address and the collection address. So look for the item in your CMS. If it is there but not on your live site, publish it from Webflow: whenever Webflow refuses to create a live item, for any reason, QuQi falls back to a staged one.

The list of collections is read once, at the moment you connect, and is never refreshed in place. A collection you create in Webflow afterwards will not appear in the picker — disconnect Webflow and connect it again to pick it up. The same is true of a site whose collections Webflow could not list at the time, which is left out of the list without saying so.
When something is refused
- The token is wrong or too narrow — QuQi asks you to generate a site token with CMS read and write scopes and try again. Nothing is stored.
- No collections came back — QuQi asks you to create a collection in your site’s CMS first, then disconnect and reconnect. There is no Save button until there is something to save.
- The stored token stops being accepted — the card turns to a red Error badge with the reason printed on it, and its button becomes Reconnect.
- A publish that fails leaves the article as a draft with the reason recorded, rather than losing the writing.

Disconnecting removes the connection from QuQi only. The token itself stays valid in Webflow until you delete it there.
انتبه
Publishing to Webflow needs a plan that includes CMS publishing. On the free plan you cannot write an article at all — writing unlocks with the free trial — and during the trial you can write articles but not publish them.
