What it does

A run researches keyword ideas, pulls the real queries people type, mines the gap where your competitors rank and you do not, works out what each searcher actually wants, then picks the winners against your content strategy.

What it picks goes straight onto your calendar, one keyword per open day, starting tomorrow. Each card carries that keyword’s search volume and difficulty, so you can see what you are about to spend an article on.

It never plans a keyword you have already planned or already written, and it drops dictionary-style queries — meaning, definition, synonym, translation, wikipedia — before anything is scored.

معلومة مفيدة Gap mining needs competitors to compare you against. With none tracked, the run says so and points you at Company → Competitors.

Skills

The planner’s skills are the six article styles. Each one carries a single switch — Plan articles in this style — and all six start switched on.

SKILLWHAT IT DOESWHAT IT CHANGES
Informative Plans an article that explains a subject. Switch it off and the planner picks from the rest.
How-To Guide Plans an article that walks through a task. Switch it off and the planner picks from the rest.
Listicle Plans a numbered run through options or ideas. Switch it off and the planner picks from the rest.
Comparison Plans an article that sets choices side by side. Switch it off and the planner picks from the rest.
Roundup Plans an article that collects the best of something. Switch it off and the planner picks from the rest.
News & Trends Plans an article about what has just changed in your field. Switch it off and the planner picks from the rest.
معلومة مفيدة Switch every style off and the planner still plans. Everything off is treated as everything on.
Choose the style once. Every article after it already knows.

SETTINGWHAT IT CHANGESDEFAULT
Plan articles in this style Whether the planner may choose that style. Sits on each style under Skills. It applies while Article Style is Mixed — pick a single style below and every article uses it, including one switched off here. On for all six
Article Style Mixed lets the planner choose a style per keyword — a how-to for a question, a comparison for “x vs y”. Pick one instead and every article it plans uses that style. It is stamped onto each calendar item, and the Copywriter writes what the item says. Mixed
Article length How long the articles it schedules run — automatic, or about 1,200, 1,500, 2,000 or 3,000 words. Length also sets how many sections the outline gets, so a quick read is a shorter piece rather than a long one cut short. Any item on the calendar can override it before it is written. Automatic
Planning instructions Standing orders for this website — topics to favour, subjects to leave alone, angles to take. Used when it researches keywords, when it picks the winners, and again when each article is written. It stacks with an item’s own Extra instructions and the Copywriter’s global instructions rather than replacing either. Empty
Keywords per Run How many keywords one run plans: 3, 5, 7 or 10. 5
Autopilot On or off, and nothing more. It is labelled Whether it plans on its own here, because Draft it, Ask me and Publish it all do the same thing on this agent — it researches keywords, files the calendar items, and stops. What happens to an item after that is the Copywriter’s own autopilot. See Autopilot. Off
How often The gap between automatic runs: every day, once a week, every two weeks or once a month. Once a week

An automatic run is scheduled for 9:00 in your website’s own timezone, so a week of work never lands in the middle of your night.
