What it is in charge of

It starts with these responsibilities: track whether AI assistants recommend you for the questions your buyers ask, and report where a competitor is named instead.

More and more buyers never reach your website. They ask Google and read an AI Overview above the results; they ask ChatGPT, Perplexity or Gemini and get a paragraph with a few sources. If you are one of those sources, you are in the conversation. If you are not, a competitor is — even when you rank on page one for the same search.

What one batch does

A batch checks up to 10 questions from your list: Google’s AI Overview for its keyword, and Perplexity, ChatGPT and Gemini for the question itself, asked as a person in your country and language. For each engine it records whether you are cited as a source and whether you are mentioned by name. It reports back in the batch’s chat with what moved and who keeps being named instead of you.

It takes the questions that are due, in this order: new ones first, then the ones you have been named for, then the ones checked longest ago. A question is due when its answers are a week old. The rest wait their turn, so the whole list is covered over a few batches: 40 questions in four, 150 in fifteen. Each finished question is counted as it lands, so a batch that stops early has used only what it checked.

The list grows a few questions at a time: a batch adds at most three new ones, from your content plan and the questions Google shows beside its answers, and checks them first.

The answers you are missing from wait on the AI Visibility page, where Write this starts the Copywriter on an article for that gap. The teammate can also hand a gap to the Copywriter itself.

What a prompt is

One row on your list is one thing a buyer asks. It has two halves: the prompt — the sentence someone types into an assistant — and its target keyword — the search the same person would type into Google. Give either half and the other is filled in for you.

The page

  • Overview totals it up: your share of the answers on Google and on the assistants, and what moved.
  • Prompts is your list, each row with its verdict on Google and each assistant. Open one to see every answer, the sites it cited, and its history.
  • Competitors lists who is cited instead of you.
  • Ideas holds the gaps worth writing about and the changes the list made to itself.
  • Check now runs a check without waiting for the batch.

What it costs

One prompt run per question checked, however many engines it reaches. An answer already fetched today is read again for free. Your plan sets how many prompts the list can hold and how many prompt runs you get a month; the Billing page shows both. When the month’s runs are used up, the page still shows everything collected so far.
