Content calendar

One month of planned work at a time — what each card is, what its pill means, and everything you can do to it before it goes out.

8 min de leitura All plans

The calendar holds two kinds of card: an article and a social post. A card starts as an idea in a slot, becomes a draft once it is written, and stays on the calendar after it has gone out.

COMECE AQUI A card on the calendar is not public. It reaches the world when you press publish on it — or, if you have set that agent’s autopilot to publish, when its slot comes round.

The month view

You see one month at a time. The arrows move to the previous or next month, and a Today button appears once you are looking at a month other than this one.

  • The filter shows All, Content only, or Social only.
  • The Create menu at the top offers two things: a social post — a brief the writer turns into a post — and an article — a keyword the writer turns into an article.
  • On a wide screen, hovering a day from today onwards shows two add buttons, so you can start a post or an article on that date without opening the menu. Days already in the past do not have them, and neither does the narrow-screen list.

Weekend offer
A week in the calendar. The dot is the state of the piece; the two buttons on the 15th appear when you hover a day.
You place it and say go. The rest happens without you.

Adding something yourself

1
Pick a day
Use one of the two add buttons inside that day’s cell, or Create at the top of the month.
2
Choose article or social post
An article is planned around a keyword. A post is planned around a topic or a brief.
3
Fill in the drawer
An article needs a keyword. A post needs at least one of a topic, a brief, or the copy itself before it can be saved.
4
Save it
The card lands on the day you chose. Nothing goes out yet.

What the pills mean

Every card carries a pill that says where it has got to. Articles and posts move through different sets.

ARTICLEWHAT IT MEANSWHAT YOU CAN DO
New Planned. Nothing has been written yet. Edit it, move it, delete it
Queued Waiting its turn to be written. Wait
Writing An agent has it and is writing it now. Wait — you cannot edit or delete it while it is being generated
Draft Written and ready to read. Read it, edit it, publish it
Published Pushed to your publishing destination. Read it — it can no longer be moved
Failed The run did not finish. Try again
SOCIAL POSTWHAT IT MEANSWHAT YOU CAN DO
New Planned. No copy written yet. Write it yourself, or have the writer draft it
Writing The writer is working on the copy. Wait — the card fills in on its own
Draft Copy exists. Nothing has gone out. Edit it, schedule it, publish it
Scheduled On the clock for its date and time. Change it to a later time, or take it off the clock
Queued or Publishing On its way to the channel. Wait
Processing The send timed out while the network was still working on it. Retrying is safe
Published Live on the channel. Open it to read. Facebook and YouTube follow View on to the live post; the other channels show a post ID instead
Failed It did not go out. The reason is on the card. Fix the reason, then Retry publish

Moving a card

  • Drag a card onto another day. Today or later only — a date in the past is refused.
  • Dragging one card moves every channel of that post together, so a post never ends up split across two days.
  • A post already on the clock cannot be dropped onto a time that has passed.
  • A published article cannot be moved. Its date is set by where it was published.

Working on an article

The article drawer holds the keyword, the date, the article style, the length, and free-text instructions for that one article. Leave style or length on their default and the item follows the Content Planner, which is where both settings live.

Change the keyword and its search volume and difficulty are fetched again in the background, so the drawer closes straight away rather than making you wait. Both numbers show on the card.

The Research button returns real search queries people type, with volume and difficulty, and marks the ones you have already planned. Adding one from that list schedules it on the next free day, starting tomorrow.

Once an article has been written, its card offers Publish, which pushes it to your website’s publishing destination.

ATENÇÃO Publishing an article sends it to your live site. It needs a plan that includes publishing to your CMS — writing the article does not.

Working on a social post

One post is one idea in one slot, fanned out to the channels you pick. They share the topic, the brief, the picture and the time; each channel gets its own copy, written in that network’s own style.

Channels

  • Add a channel, or drop one with the × on its tab. You cannot drop a channel that has already published, and you cannot drop the last one left.
  • A channel can only be picked if it accepts the media you chose. The chip’s tooltip says why an unavailable one is unavailable.
  • You can plan and write a post for a channel before you connect it. The chip says it cannot publish until you do, and the send is refused at the time rather than dropped quietly.
  • If a channel is connected but has no page or account picked yet, the calendar says exactly that instead of telling you to connect it again.

The copy

You choose whether the writer drafts the copy or you type it yourself. Write the post writes every channel of the post, and the drawer stays open so you can watch each tab finish. When some channels already have copy, the button reads Write N more and leaves the finished ones untouched.

Copy you already have can be reworked in place with seven one-click rewrites: Shorter, Longer, More formal, More casual, Punchier, Sharper CTA and Another angle. The rewrite happens right in the box — nothing is saved and nothing is scheduled, and Cancel throws it away.

The picture

  • Upload one — JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF, MP4, QuickTime and WebM are accepted, up to 25MB for a picture and 100MB for a video.
  • Pick a recent one from the Studio — the latest pictures and videos in your image library, with no search or paging.
  • Describe it and have it generated. Suggest with AI writes the description for you, using the same art direction the Studio uses.

A picture generated in the drawer appears at once for you to look at, and only becomes the post’s picture when you save the post. It is also saved into your library so you can use it again. Removing the picture removes it from every channel of the post, not just the tab you are on.

Channel options

Instagram and Facebook posts can both go out as a feed post, a reel or a story. Two extras are Instagram-only, and their boxes appear only when Instagram is one of the post’s channels: sharing a reel to the feed as well, and putting the link in a first comment.

Scheduling and publishing

One tick-box — Send it on its own at this time — decides what saving does. Leave it unticked and the date only files the post on the calendar; nothing goes out until you publish it. Tick it and saving puts the post on the clock.

  • You cannot schedule a post for a time that has already passed.
  • Putting a post on the clock puts every written channel of it on the clock. The confirmation names any channel still missing copy and any channel not yet connected.
  • Publish now saves your edits first, then sends every channel. Channels with no copy yet are skipped and named rather than dropped silently.
  • One channel refusing does not stop the others going out.
ATENÇÃO Deleting a post deletes it from every channel it was planned for. Channels that have already published are kept — the confirmation says so, and the message afterwards tells you how many were kept.

While an agent has a card

You cannot edit or delete a card while it is being generated; the calendar says to wait for it to finish. In the drawer, the buttons along the bottom go away while every channel of the post is busy — close it with the × in its header, with Esc, or by clicking outside it. The calendar keeps checking until the work lands — so the copy appears without you refreshing the page.
