What it does

A planned post is one idea, with one picture, in one slot, fanned out to every channel you plan for. It is not a separate card per channel — you will not open your calendar to nine copies of the same thing.

Planned posts land between tomorrow and six days out, at 10:00. Running the planner again tops the week up rather than doubling it.

Before it plans, it reads the last 30 days of your posts and pictures and is told not to repeat any of it. It also corrects whatever kind of post has been under-represented lately.

With nothing connected yet, the planner still fills the week, so you can see what a week of your social looks like before you connect a single account.

BOM SABER A planned brief carries no copy. Nothing the planner makes can be published by accident, because there is nothing there yet to publish.

Skills

Eight kinds of post. Each carries one setting — Share of the week — and together they decide the mix. It is a share, not a count: the numbers across all eight kinds are scaled up or down to hit Posts per Week, so 2 shares with 3 posts a week does not mean two posts of that kind. Only the ratio between the kinds is honoured. Set one to None and that kind is never planned.

Settings

SETTINGWHAT IT CHANGESDEFAULT
Share of the week How big a share of the week goes to one kind of post: None, or 1 to 4 shares. Sits on each kind under Skills. The shares across all eight kinds are scaled to Posts per Week, so this is a ratio and not a count. 1 promotional, 2 engagement, 2 teaching, 1 click-through, 1 proof, none for the rest
Which channels to plan for Which channels a planned post is fanned out to: all nine, the ones you have connected, picked one by one, or none to pause planning. The ones I have connected
Posts per Week How many post ideas a week gets: 2, 3, 5 or daily. Each one goes to every channel you plan for. 3
Picture shape The shape of the generated picture: Square 1:1, Landscape 3:2 or Portrait 2:3. Square 1:1
Resize to fit every platform Cuts each channel its own portrait and landscape version from the picture already made. Free, and no second generation. Off
Autopilot Whether it plans on its own. Only Off and Draft it are offered here — whether a planned post then gets written, asked about or published is the Social Copywriter’s own autopilot. See Autopilot. Off
How often The gap between automatic runs: every day, once a week, every two weeks or once a month. Once a week

QuQi plans and publishes for nine channels: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, X, Threads, Pinterest and Google Business. If you choose to pick channels one by one, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and TikTok start ticked and the other five start unticked.
