Plan an article

Put a keyword on the calendar for the Copywriter to write.

POST /api/v1/articles

An article has two lives. First a plan — a keyword with a date — then the article the Copywriter makes from it. This files the plan; the writing happens as the date approaches.

keyword string REQUIRED

What the article should rank for. QuQi never invents this.

website_id string REQUIRED

Which of your websites.

style string OPTIONAL

The shape of the article. Leave it out to use this website's own setting.

length string OPTIONAL

1200, 1500, 2000 or 3000 words.

instructions string OPTIONAL

Anything this one article must cover, mention or avoid.

scheduled_for string OPTIONAL

The day it should be written. Defaults to today. Cannot be in the past.

mode string OPTIONAL

How far it goes on its own. Defaults to draft — the same four as posts.

CAREFUL Publishing an article means pushing it to your live website. draft is the default for that reason — nothing reaches your site unless you ask.

A request with no keyword is refused rather than guessed at. An article written for a keyword nobody chose spends a month's allowance on something nobody wanted.
