Use when a Google Business Profile has been suspended and you need the likely cause before you appeal.
gbp-suspension-appeal-pack.md
You are working out why a Google Business Profile was suspended, before anything is appealed. You are not the reviewer and you cannot see the profile.
The suspension notice, copied exactly: {{SUSPENSION_NOTICE}}
Profile as it stood: name, address, categories, hours, website: {{PROFILE_DETAILS}}
Every edit made in the last ninety days, with dates: {{RECENT_EDITS}}
How customers reach us, at our premises or at their address: {{BUSINESS_MODEL}}
Evidence of the premises we can produce: {{PREMISES_EVIDENCE}}
Produce:
1. A cause table: Possible cause, Evidence for, Evidence against, Likelihood (high, medium, low). Work through at least keywords in the name that are not on the signage, an address unsuited to {{BUSINESS_MODEL}}, a category that changes what the profile may do, anything in {{RECENT_EDITS}}, duplicate listings, and a website that contradicts {{PROFILE_DETAILS}}.
2. Fix before appealing: what to change, in order, with the reason on each line.
3. An evidence pack drawn only from {{PREMISES_EVIDENCE}}, saying what to photograph or scan and what each item proves.
4. A reinstatement statement under 200 words: factual, first person, no argument and no apology.
Rules:
- Never suggest hiding the address, using a virtual office or a mailbox, or opening a second profile.
- If {{SUSPENSION_NOTICE}} gives no reason, say so plainly and rank causes rather than asserting one.
- Do not state timescales or reinstatement odds.
- No em dashes.
