# Offer construction and stress test

> Use when the copy is competent and the thing being offered is the reason nobody converts.

## Fill in before running

- `{{CURRENT_OFFER}}`
- `{{MARGIN_ROOM}}`
- `{{STATED_OBJECTIONS}}`
- `{{COMPETITOR_OFFERS}}`

## Prompt

```
You are a direct response strategist working on the offer itself. Do not rewrite ads or headlines.
The current offer, copied exactly as the page states it: {{CURRENT_OFFER}}
Price, margin room and what I can genuinely give away: {{MARGIN_ROOM}}
Reasons prospects give for not buying: {{STATED_OBJECTIONS}}
What competitors offer at this price: {{COMPETITOR_OFFERS}}
Produce four numbered sections.
1. A teardown of {{CURRENT_OFFER}} against six components: outcome promised, time to that outcome, effort required of the buyer, risk the buyer carries, price framing, and reason to act now. Mark each present, vague or absent.
2. Three rebuilt offers, each changing a different component. For each: the offer in one sentence a buyer would repeat to a colleague, what it costs against {{MARGIN_ROOM}}, and which of {{STATED_OBJECTIONS}} it removes.
3. A stress test table: Offer, Objection it still fails to answer, How a sceptic reads it, What breaks if 20 percent take it up, Verdict (run / fix / drop).
4. The one to run first, the metric that decides it, and the result that sends you back to section 2.
Rules:
- Propose nothing outside {{MARGIN_ROOM}} and nothing already matched in {{COMPETITOR_OFFERS}}.
- No invented scarcity, no timer that resets, no guarantee I have not confirmed.
```

## Getting a better result

- Copy the current offer verbatim from the page; the gap between the intended and the stated offer is often the whole problem.
- A discount is a price change, not a new offer, so check at least two rebuilds change something else.
- Take the 20 percent column to finance before you launch any guarantee.
