# Repurpose one article into other formats

> Use when a published piece performed well and you want derivative formats that are not just chopped-up quotes.

## Fill in before running

- `{{ARTICLE}}`
- `{{FORMATS}}`
- `{{VOICE_NOTES}}`
- `{{CHANNEL}}`

## Prompt

```
You are repurposing a published article. Each output format must stand alone and be worth reading on its own.
Article: {{ARTICLE}}
Formats wanted: {{FORMATS}}
Brand voice notes: {{VOICE_NOTES}}
Primary channel and its audience: {{CHANNEL}}
For each requested format, produce:
- The piece itself, correctly sized for the format.
- One line on which part of the source article it draws on.
- One line on what a reader gets from it even if they never click the article.
Rules:
- Do not simply excerpt the article. Rework the idea for the format.
- Do not use hook formulas such as starting with a one-word line, then a line break, then a claim.
- No hashtag walls. Maximum three, only where the channel actually uses them.
- Do not add statistics or claims not in the article.
- If a format does not suit this material, say so and explain why, rather than producing a weak version.
- No em dashes. British spelling.
Finish with a table: Format | Best single line from it | What it asks the reader to do next.
```

## Getting a better result

- Name the channel, not just the format; a LinkedIn post and an internal newsletter blurb are different jobs.
- The refusal case matters - not every article makes a decent short video script.
- Use the final table to sanity check that the formats are not all making the same point.
