# Bundle and kit positioning

> Use when you are selling several products together and need copy that justifies the bundle, not just the discount.

## Fill in before running

- `{{BRAND_NAME}}`
- `{{BUNDLE_CONTENTS_WITH_PRICES}}`
- `{{BUNDLE_PRICE}}`
- `{{TARGET_BUYER}}`
- `{{RATIONALE}}`

## Prompt

```
Write positioning and copy for a bundle sold by {{BRAND_NAME}}.
Bundle contents and individual prices:
{{BUNDLE_CONTENTS_WITH_PRICES}}
Bundle price: {{BUNDLE_PRICE}}
Who it is for: {{TARGET_BUYER}}
Why these items go together: {{RATIONALE}}
Produce:
1. THREE POSITIONING ANGLES, each in one sentence, ranked by how well they hold up without the discount. For each say what evidence would prove it works.
2. Bundle name options - 5, under 5 words each.
3. Product page copy - 120 to 160 words using the top ranked angle.
4. VALUE TABLE - Item | Bought alone | In the bundle | What it does for the buyer. Include a total row. Calculate the saving from the prices given and show the arithmetic.
5. Three objections a buyer will have, with a one line answer each.
Rules:
- Do not make the discount the lead argument in the page copy.
- Do not claim a saving figure you have not calculated from the supplied prices. If a price is missing, say so.
- Do not include an item in the value table that is not in the contents list.
- No em dashes. No fake scarcity.
```

## Getting a better result

- If the top angle only works because of the discount, the bundle is wrong, not the copy.
- Check the arithmetic yourself. A saving figure that does not match the basket is a chargeback waiting to happen.
- Use the objections list to decide what goes above the add to basket button.
