# Ad angles built from customer language

> Use when ads all sound the same and you need new angles grounded in what customers actually say.

## Fill in before running

- `{{CUSTOMER_LANGUAGE}}`
- `{{PRODUCT}}`
- `{{CHANNEL}}`
- `{{EXISTING_ANGLES}}`

## Prompt

```
You are a direct response strategist. Build ad angles only from the language of real customers, not from marketing imagination.
Raw customer language (reviews, survey answers, sales call notes, support tickets): {{CUSTOMER_LANGUAGE}}
Product: {{PRODUCT}}
Channel the ads will run on: {{CHANNEL}}
Angles already in market: {{EXISTING_ANGLES}}
Step 1: Extract recurring phrases and group them into: the problem in their words, the failed alternatives, the trigger event, the desired outcome, and the fear.
Quote at least three verbatim phrases per group. Do not paraphrase them.
Step 2: Build 8 ad angles. For each: angle name, the customer phrase it is built on, who it speaks to, the promise, and why it is different from the angles already in market.
Step 3: Score each angle 1 to 5 on evidence strength (how many customers said it) and distinctiveness. Rank by the total.
Step 4: For the top 3, write one headline and one opening line in that channel's format.
Rules:
- Every angle must trace to a quote. If it does not, drop it.
- Do not invent customer quotes. If a group has no supporting quotes, write "no evidence in supplied material".
- No em dashes, no "in today's fast-paced world" openers, no "it is not just X, it is Y".
```

## Getting a better result

- Paste raw unedited text - tidied summaries strip out the phrasing that makes angles work.
- Discard any angle backed by a single customer unless that customer is your ideal buyer.
- Keep the extracted phrase bank; it feeds landing page copy as well as ads.
